The thing is Colour, we do not know when the bulk of these orders are placed, suppose a Government Dept clears them once a year in line with the budget.
If this was the case I would now expect some breakaways with OPEX coming to the fore. Before it was dependent on Government loans and approvals. As I see it following Mysore we now have a case for 'put them in, in haste as everyone is an earner for Utility concerned. With our existing contract Utilities having possibly 20m customers between them I see good scope for them wanting to convert their whole areas. Now that would be 'Sticky'.

Don't worry about it Colour, CC is on the up and we should soon hear some more good news if next round of contract applications happen. I seem to remember it is this time of year.
I am always mindful of CC being small company with 182m shares; so small contracts go a long way and bigger ones go a long long way. I think Thailand is still on the starting blocks for CC and of course our ever faithful UK.

Over the years JC has been called out several times for being over enthusiastic so is probably being very conservative.
We have our existing contracts which people seem to agree that once underway are sticky.
These Utilities probably have about 20m customers between them and may eventually all go Smart.
Hope to hear a bit more regarding Thailand.
Heathers Pipeline seems slow off the mark but that is probably dealing with EESL who I seem to remember had changes at the top of the tree recently. So may take a bit longer if there.
I have a feeling that we shall see more action this year than JC says, at least I hope so.

I agree Colour, it must surely be above that.. I would think that CC is delivering more modules than that per week alone to manufactures. We may hear of new contracts in next couple of weeks with the new financial year as that is why CC moved its Y/E 31/3 to coincide with India I believe.

The reason I asked about profitability with Ceres is that they are laying out a lot of money on R&D still and if they are not making money yet why not. Looks like hydrogen will take off but you never know in what form. Peugeot are introducing an hydrogen van this year, taking away the EV batteries and replacing the hydrogen tanks feeding into Fuel Cell, is that the same design as Ceres one wonders or a different approach.
This is tec going into a new era.
As we saw Ceres had a consolidation a few years back and their large rise has happened only in the last couple of years.
They may well have struck it lucky with these latter design upgrades and a world direction towards hydrogen etc.
In their early days they struggled for many years, the product was good but the market was not there.
Have not followed them much during the years but I believe they coupled with a Dutch company at one time.
Bottom line again is AIM market is risk. FTSE100 for solid but boring years.
Have to see what CC presents in next few months.

Looking at JC's comment of £19m value of current Indian contract and delivery status would you think that CC warrants an higher SP. Hopefully we will hear shortly of other contract wins and the progress in Thailand.

Hello ITT, like LTI I am looking forward to seeing if Arden is exceeded.
I have been told that I am not a figures person, possibly correct in as much as I look at the overall of Y/E + charts + predictions.
I am always interested when you pick up basic figures but tell myself they do not often forward predict. A share is not worth sitting on unless you can see a favourable outcome.
As we are in limbo until next figures perhaps you could cast your eyes over Ceres for me. As we know SP has bounced up into 1000p - 1500p range but looking at their past 2 years I cannot see how that is justified apart from sentiment on new contracts. Which says to me that CC should perhaps be much higher on forecasts.

Hello mcgoof.. Not exactly a detailed answer but with Ceres who knows; trouble is having dramatically gone to 1500p and now down to 1200p then just to double your investment it would have to reach 2400p. but they keep saying it is going up and up.
I think that bearing in mind CC's size that we should see several fold rise on investment. It's all down to competition and politics. Hopefully CC has kept its secret safe re building penetration and 12km distancing.

McGoof, I saw you on Ceres asking about them. To my memory they have been going longer than Cyan and were a spin off from a University. Its only the last 2 years they have taken off and I am hoping the same for CC.

Could be ITT, small amounts to build next % declaration but to spend 7p a go (+fees) may well turn out to be good value.

Well ITT I am only interested in the possibility of getting 50m units which would be pretty good.
My view is existing contracts I believe are not EESL so privately arranged. These will hopefully be full term contracts covering all of those Utilities customers.
Again hopefully we will get Pipeline contracts from EESL. Outside of India I think we are doing well with Thailand.
So bearing in mind size of CC, small contracts are worth a lot more when turn over starts to flow.

Hello ITT.. Good luck with that purchase. I think CC was anticipating getting about 20% (50m) of Indian market through manufacturers. We all know everything is slow but the contracts running are positive so likelihood of getting all of the customers for those Utilities must be good, especially if they are self-fulfilling, now installing at no cost and getting immediate returns. I was interested in the bonus situation of one Utility and elsewhere another Utility who required the applicant to be able to take on the whole lot. To me this means India is on the move.
You have to wait with CC but we are getting there, good times ahead if CC gets their 20%.

Nice idea having forecasts on what is said at Presentations but if it takes longer in India that is OK as long as it happens.
CC appears to be doing well in existing contracts, including a bonus for speed, and even Colour has commented on how slow India is in issuing new contracts..

My mid week.. I think it will hold Colour and hopefully JC will provide y/end summary.
In the past it was said most pilots if successful were sticky.
On that assumption what is the total combined customers for JVVNL, MPWZ, Tangedco plus total comsumers for MEA Thailand. If around 16m. and full end-to-end at say £20m per million units then could be £300m.
Only fag packet calculations but possible plus any other new contracts.
Nobody, sorry most of us, do not want negatives.
CC is small and could do well.

I was not advising but pointing out how well a poorly AIM share managed to do (in time), LOL.
They are partnering up with some of the biggest companies worldwide.
Their Cell system is very much sought after.
