Assuming the deal is on ( and I agree with recent posts) is that the BOD try to be too clever. Like it or not our backs are against the wall and the way of the world is once the big boys turn up it's time to hand over the baton. On the call now. Seems to me cepsa are to produce, ship to ksa. My bet is ksa Elec are not happy with trial price because there base price is lower than cepsa. Someone needs to subsidise the feedstock. Views?

At previous RNS, we achieved 561bopd ( ok not an average over the period).Assuming Mr K isn't a charleton we should expect new baseline average to be around that figure. He then provided a low forecast improvement of 60% for the, a crude 15% per quarter giving around another 75 bopd totalling around 635 bopd. Which all fits nicely with others expectations. FWIW I think we'll beat it. GLA

Why bother with yesterdays. They must have been produced in tandem? Were they pushed into yesterdays RNS because of the info getting into the market? Views?

Sorry I don't get the significance of the continued references to "closed period" which to my mind refers to buying selling of shares by those in the know. It has nothing to do with what we hope is happening now? Theoretically if no bid was forthcoming an RNS should have dropped. As it didn't we can only assume everything remains on track and a binding bid was received.I wait to see if it was acceptable, possibly after a bit of negotiating... The other options would have been to RNS offer was s"ite or too good to be true and we've bit their hands off, neither was ever going to happen...GLA

that if we discount a low ball bid (because they have us in a corner, discussed earlier) that the bid would be higher than the SEP figure because they are taking a share of the mine? Under the SEP arrangement presumably NCCL (100%ownership) would have had the opportunity to sell coal to third parties and "possibly" take some sort of income from coal supplied to the SEP power plant. Am I missing something? Probably...

I'm pleasantly surprised that SP has held up reasonably well. It's been a while since the last update, which suggested we're waiting for a signature or two... Given time elapsed it appears to be increasingly likely that there is a major sticking point somewhere... It's about time we had another update, with a few more details (confidentiality issues aside)...

But now we're in March, the longer we wait for an RNS the more comfortable I become. (I wonder if Sainsbury's give refunds?Off to find the receipt ;-) )

Wouldn't say SEP were moved on quickly... How many other gamers are in town... None? I believe a deal will be done but from where I am sitting a deal of any description is better than no deal, because where do we go in that scenario. lets hope the BOD are good poker players and don't try bluff against a stonewaller! RNS did not state end date was 28/2. It said that that it had be agreed "in principle", as had the other dates. They left scope for a further delay. To be realistic ge/cmec have us over a barrel and so frankly anything is better then nothing and they know that as should our management. I for one wont sleep well tonight or maybe tomorrow.... GLA
