my b/g reading revealed that pioneer likes a few broccoli sprouts on his croissant with cream cheese. the man's obviously thinking straight!

They looked alright. Not many companies on Mouser do SMD supercaps. AVX and TDK do, Kemet and Elna also; all quite clunky. AVX's Bestcap is theirs, TDK's is actually the prismatic all along. SMD is defined as their termination style. I can see the potential here, or have I gone mad?
Twenty or so manufacturers of the SMT boards: eg. Nordson, Fuji, Panasonic. Mycronic illustrate well future electronics on their website.
Never see any Russian companies; their own secret markets maybe.
Its been interesting to read about patents. They appear valuable for innovation, that governments will enforce in law. I havent read why governments make laws that say it's good to do so, but I did read about an example of the sewing machine that has many components (up to 100) each which has a patent. this machine (which changed the world) started off with one invented patent. other manufacturers could copy this patent and make an inferior machine but they didnt, they invented other components, and by giving them patents too, improved the machine and made it what it is today.
IMO Musk is attempting to be utilitarian, which is always fine in principle, but it can kill innovation. If a best-in-class invention can be hurriedly copied and made inferior by that process, it will hinder innovation from elsewhere.

have we seen this this memorandum order document from last june where the judge denies the rotters whatever it was they were after, and in his mind, they were wot did it, or words to that effect?
ta v much re LPWA, we had a brief look at this 18 months ago. I remember basically how it operates but not what the hardware looked like. google imaged wireless sensor just now, see illustration with supercap
https://www.elprocus.com/architecture-of-wireless-sensor-network-and-applications/
eg. Semtech uses its LORA wireless on there and collaborate with chip maker STMicroelectronics. They're from Europe, AK wasnt off there was he?
what a relief thats all over, almost. covid, winter, factory relocation, should be gentler from now on and their sustainable products will shoe-horn into more products. a poet may refer to the last few years as descending from jagged peaks and dark skies to the firmer plains with spring skies. some past allenby report mentioned (pretty sure) beginning with shorter runs of different products (smaller margins) to satisfy different customers, hence H2 rev forecast?
I too noticed ambiguity on subject of infringements. There're 40 comps globally, almost half in China. Elna (japan) sells a few on mouser.
pity the pubs are shut, i would have popped in to drag him out for a beer. hope all goes well.
was having a look at cde sales director, brendan andrews, linkedin activity and he posted an interesting piece from EIT InnoEnergy.

from an article 3 yrs ago, see para headed Future Calling
https://www.imeche.org/news/news-article/engineering-a-battery-free-future
googling battery-free energy storage has come up with some good reads
there's new tdk distribution starting to trickle thru Digikey, with further additions on Mouser too. i'd like to know if they're going to go full-steam on direct sales. they must have some half-decent manufacturing set-up and wouldn't be solely advertising a few hundred via distributors?

new e-peas vid with cap (apologies if posted before). some info on targeted applications in bio blurb below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP9e6nWTo0s&t=5s
yes, good its home brand, not a murata one, opens up another line, retails for 12 pounds.
the other thing i like are the two sales directors (plus Josephson's agenda) appearing on webinar, usually always engineers so might get some knowledge of addressable market, which Luc of e-peas previously hinted at. exciting ramp up of applications on their site, indicating a real possibility for convergence in tech green and clean. Could be great, who's got the Tarot cards?
itm's in hydrogen arent they? if so, perhaps no mystery, govts have given green light to energy source as it'll be an easy one to tax, I read somewhere. typical !
supercaps are for battery-free applications, fit and forget in the main. sure theres been developments elsewhere in batteries (if they can control materials) which has opened up additional new applications. i'd be more than interested if Graham, or anyone, could tell of the battery products he knows that are a threat to cpx's core business, hello!
i (1 min)read this other day for instance on hybrid-supercapacitors, https://newatlas.com/energy/qut-hybrid-supercapacitor/
idtechx mentioned supercaps eating into tantalum capacitor market also.
Catnip to me thanks. I was reading about E Ink again today in the YE19 results, listed as a direct customer. (others mentioned; Thales, Itron, Honeywell, ABB, VW, Yamaha, Ingenico, Roche, Turck - keep up with the customer service! - i'm presuming these are direct customers since mentioned before murata acquisition)
Atmosic have a module similar to e-peas which harvests energy either to a supercap, the "battery free" option, or to a rechargeable battery called "forever battery" or the standard battery, now called "extended battery" (eg; something like the new murata CRs extended temp and energy ones, under license). Cant find any evaluation board pics but heres a link to their harvesting blurb
https://www.atmosic.com/capturing-ambient-photovoltaic-energy-to-achieve-forever-battery-life-and-drive-the-battery-free-iot/
Apparently murata's customers only had a stored inventory for 6 to 9 months of product, so imagine they are shopping again. YE20 results talked of some potential that would surpass manufacturing capacity. Better strengthen that customer service department too.
https://e-peas.com/news/e-peas-raising-8-million-in-venture-capital/. Remember this, sales pipeline 500m$ target? Hope so.
Expect the unexpected! If you fancy a bit of lockdown viewing Adam Curtis made a fascinating doc on takeovers, corporate raiding, asset stripping which successive governments couldnt stop and then ultimately capitulated. (starts properly with episode 2 of 4 from the 1960's).

this presentation was from Miromico AG, who are Epishine customers, who also took part in the launch with others

cpx cap on table, module on far left. company werent specifically mentioned but caps were, but this is now on cutting room floor for these highlights.
Prof Greys webinar was on flow batteries in the main; vanadium toxic and expensive, shes working on organic DHAC.
2nd Feb launch of their product with a cpx prismatic (pic in press material)
