Mole valley , like every council, have a code of conduct and a standards committee. If you believe that a councillor mislead the committee in a significant way, report them. Fire a shot across the bows.

Having just caught up with the webcast, the planning officer at the meeting clearly knew nothing on the case in question.. Nothing like my planning authority.... I can't believe the debate about a nothing email. I have caused far more trouble than that to a planning committee. Not to mention planning inquiries. I'm not going to comment on the content of the rest of the meeting.

Chas. The Planning officers are the professional body. They go through the evidence and produce a report and make a reccomendation. Councillors are supposed to read the report. They shouldn’t be on the planning committee if they won’t do their homework

A heads up that most of the planning conditions were updated at the weekend including noise and the transport management plan. Approved.. 3 conditions to go.

They can ask the Secretary of State to review the planning decision. It does happen

Surrey county council are a disgrace. They have let down all uk taxpayers deliberately obstructing the high court decision on Holmwood and HH. However it should be the Conservitive party and Thersa May who should be sorting out Surrey. Europa should be putting that pressure as operators of Holmwood. It is an outrage that Surrey was asking for more money to fund social care, more money to run the fire control but block income to the county and nation. I speak from personal anger as my wife has MS and a severe heart condition and we have been forced through face to face interviews to keep her mobility allowance, ignoring all the medical evidence. She has had an interview under caution over a misunderstanding over contributions based ESA. The government would rather intimidate disabled people than get thier Tory councils under control. Surrey should have its government grant slashed.
