How many times does a share price perform as predicted on these bb's? In my experience hardly ever. Last year many were predicting £1 by Christmas and others were talking about takeovers for millions and even billions. Even this morning there is talk of mid teens this week. In my experience most folk on here know no more than me. I haven't a clue how the sp will perform in the next half hour let alone the next week and certainly not the next month. We have had an encouraging RNS this morning which has informed us of a finance package for us to develop our infrastructure in the immediate future and thereby allowing us to increase production and thereby revenue. We also appear to have a new II. All of this is clearly good news. I have always thought this would be a longer term investment than some have indicated and it does appear this is the case. Progress will be made during the rest of this year with a RBL and a JV at some stage in the coming months. This will give good returns eventually but this still has some way to go before a stage is reached when there is a sp in the £'s. As hard as it is, a great deal of patience is still required if you want to make maximum returns here.
RBM and tommo, thank you for sharing. I do not know you at all but, as you say, why lie? I am feeling much more positive this morning thanks to your comments. I do feel however, this will be a gradual increase once the initial rerate has taken place. A good few months before buy out or real value achieved. GLALTH.
The lack of feedback from AM and the failure to offer any kind of reassurance is worrying and frustrating. Many of us are extremely worried now and are beginning to think the worst. However, I am thinking that AM has not given any reassurances to us pi's is because he is pi**ed off with a number of us. I am referring to emails he apparently received which were unpleasant, threatening and in some instances included death threats. That kind of behaviour is unforgiveable and whoever sent them should know better. As a result, he may well be thinking they can wait for information as 'I am subject to a NDA and am under no obligation to reassure these folks', so why should I? If true, it's perhaps understandable, but not really the behaviour we would expect from the CEO of an organisation that has had the support of the vast majority of its shareholders over a number of years. If he is looking to create anxiety he is succeeding. Like everyone, I am so looking forward to this uncertainty coming to an end soon. Obviously I hope we get the RBL/JV and everything else that has been promised but I am now close to not caring either way. (not true really but I just want the worry and frustration every day to go away). GLALTH. Everything that can be crossed is crossed.
Was that a daft question? Do we have any say if the company receives offers for a joint deal or a full take out. Don't we as shareholders own the company? Please tell me if I am being stupid or can AM just go ahead without any input from us?
'I remain optimistic though I haven't a clue what's really going on' sums up my feelings as well panama. I suspect that is true for many on here. If AM has received really unpleasant e-mails from pi's and even death threats then he could be thinking, well sod it. They can wait to hear what's happening. After all the grief they have given me, why should I go out of my way to appease them. A bit unprofessional but understandable I guess. Those who have contacted him politely appear to have been given replies which settle the nerves somewhat. I have no more cash to put in and I am not selling at these ridiculous levels so I just have to stick it out. I just can't believe AM is a charlatan and that this whole thing is some kind of scam. In the end we may not get the deal we should or even deserve, for all sorts of reasons that I can't get my head around, but it's got to be better than the current sp. I try very hard for this not to be at the centre of my thoughts every day but it's getting increasingly difficult for it not to be. It would be lovely if this would end soon.
I have increased the number of filtered posters by another 3 in the last couple of days. It helps, believe me. I also just look in at 7.00 am to see if there is news. I pop in maybe twice again during the day usually around 2.30 - 3.00 pm. I have learned everything I need to know about this company and where (hopefully) it is headed. Even the best experts here can add very little because they have informed us of everything they know, and that's why they no longer post. It is now simply a waiting game. Folk can engage with 'the******' all they want. It won't make a blind bit of difference to the final outcome. Personally I have far better things to do with my life, like get over my latest covid bout. Anyway, chins up. I think we will have to wait until March when the JV partner will then have all the info it needs to finalise an offer. Fingers crossed it will be a good one.
I have now filtered 71 posters in total. I don't know how that compares but these folks were filtered because I felt they added absolutely nothing to the constructive debate I am looking for. I believe I still get a balanced view because I don't filter anyone who, in my opinion, makes reasoned and valid points regardless of weather they are positive or negative. I believe I have managed to cut out a great deal of meaningless drivel. I am still able to draw what I think are valid conclusions and as a result I remain cautiously optimistic that we will be fine. Bilbo's comments yesterday made me think about how the unscrupulous folk here have no regard for anyone other than themselves. In the end their comments have little effect on the final outcome but they do impact on some who have perhaps overstretched themselves. (Got the tee shirt!) I can see no reason why we cannot at the very least get all our money back and we can walk away with a tough lesson learned. Having said that, I am confident that we will eventually get a handsome return here. Surely if this was to go t*ts up we would know by now. Time will tell. Chin up Bilbo. The fat lady is not singing yet. GLALTH
Like everyone (trolls excepted) I really hope you are finally right. I haven't e-mailed AM because he has enough on his plate without yet another pi pestering him but I would be interested to know what he has said to the folk who have expressed their confidence/reassurance when he replied to their e-mails. Hopefully there is not much longer to wait. The closer we get the more nervous and concerned I am getting. If this is a success it will make a huge difference to me and my family. For others it will be life changing, literally. Can we really get over the line?? This remains a hard watch but hopefully for not much longer. Best wishes and the best of good fortune to everyone who have stuck with AM for so long.
It is really disturbing to read that most of the correspondance AM receives is abusive including death threats. We all know that his communication skills could be (much) better and maybe he could employ someone to cover this. If you watch and listen to his interviews he comes across as someone who knows his onions but struggles to put his thoughts into clear concise sentences. often going off at a tangent. They are not really interviews but very long explanations of his view of the state of play. Important points are often missed in the plethora of information he gives us. I guess it is the way he is. Anyway, as pi's we have to accept we are at the bottom of the heap when it comes to what is really going on. It was ever thus. As a result we have only the official RNS's and information from interviews to see what is going on. The rest is just guesswork and assumption. There are some very well informed posters here who have done an enormous amount of work and have given us the benefit of their research by posting what they have found. Some have received replies from emails sent to AM and are apparently reassured that things are progressing. I don't for one second believe that these folks are lying as some are suggesting. I believe them and I believe AM that we are on the right track. When this will all be resolved is anybody's guess (and it will be a guess). I wish posters would not say things like 'JV news this week'. The point is, none of us know. I understand many have a lot to lose if this goes t*ts up, me included but it was my decision to invest here. Things will happen when they happen and we must let the company get on with finalising the various negotiations they are involved in. Being abusive to each other and to AM achieves absolutely nothing.. GLALTH's.
