RE: looking stronger15 Jan 2021 17:47
Everyone knows this but I'm going to write it anyway...
There's nothing wrong with being a day trader and there's nothing wrong with being a long term investor, but both have a different perspective. Day trading appears more concerned with shareholder sentiment of immediate newsflow whereas long term investors are interested in how market opportunity and capacity for company growth will unfold. Both play with the same shares in the same marketplace so it's tricky to spot how each, or both, is driving the price at any given time. Also, sometimes I feel like it would be nice to have these forums split in two, one for day traders, the other for long term investors, because the posts from each camp seem completely irrelevant to the other.
My apologies for such a banal observation, but does anyone know if such a scheme can be arranged on LSE?
