Yes was reading your posts last night @FigTreeHarry...
I'm heavily in CINE for the long term... But I think you miss the very simple fact, that the majority of CINE's business in based in the USA! So therefore the majority of the business is affected by going's on, on that side of the pond. The UK's return to normality is marginal. Please factor in that this is predominantly a US company!
This will likely recover today or Monday at worst back to 70's.
The true affect of this news, will be seen at the end of next year, when these releases do show the revenue impact, if at all... Not going to show now, when you cant quantify what a particular movie is going to Gross anyway. Furthermore, these WB moves are sadly not blockbusters! They are the movies that have a rapid 10 second advert on TV, where as Bond, Top Gun have long adverts, because they have a bigger budget and will drag in more cash! THESE, are what we need and want and cant look forward to seeing on the big screen!
Today's not concerning, if anything presented a wonderful opportunity to lower the average and look forward to inbound news over the next few weeks which will see this breach 80p.
Have a good weekend all!
Yeah.... Really Fast.
Clown. Filter bin with you!
Really chuffed to add 10k more shares this morning, following recent rises... WB news is short term, low impact and there’s a much bigger picture if you look a little further than the end of your nose. This share has a lot to give in the next 6-18months.
A shorter is someone who lives with their elderly mother, keeping the basement warm...
They socialise by alienating their alias friends on online forums/BBs, and have a strict diet of Cheetos and juice boxes.
They basically bet on the SP decreasing, and post on here incessantly de-ramping as they are pooing it that they’re losing money.
No records here, just a bb full of strangers, weirdos and vagabonds. (Some very informative, some just want filtering)
Care to recommend the page?
As I suspected, now showing as 59p (+6.69%up)
Graphs falls off a cliff at 4.35pm... Dodgy as F*
Will falsely making tomorrow opening at say 60p like a false rise early doors. Definitely some dodgy shiz goes on with the markets!
Nice to have a rise into the close... Bodes well for tomorrow. Another 10% day please, thats the doctors orders :)
I see live 60.11p (+8.70% rise) at close of play.
Will no doubt change in fifteen minutes for some unknown reason.
Are back!! I go away for an hour, the SP takes a wee dip and the cretins are back...
If the doom mongers are back out, its because they're scared, they either want to short or want a lower entry... This is good news, as it means sentiment is strong!
Shame, the board has been calm and full of constructive adult conversation today... The kids are now back from school, straight on the LSE Boards. Must have some lunch money in their Junior ISA they are trying to turn to gold.
three more 10% days gets us to 80p...
Not improbable, may then see it wander up and down for the following few weeks.
Fair point. I guess it would be interesting to see the slate of films for release and their dates, which presumably are mostly TBC at this point.
I have no doubt that Mooky, and other cinemas are in cahoots with Studio's, to appropriately time the release of films in the best possible manner to reignite their industry. And no doubt any official announcement will not follow until Vaccines gain Emergency Use, and the UK & USA vaccination plans are laid bare. Probably keeping an eye on RoW too, as box office takings are global, not just confined to UK & USA!
Lots to fall into line, and its a waiting game for the next 2-4 weeks before all will start to become clear.
Thats my own perspective anyway.
at 63p?
That feels like a good time, considering vaccines, possible restrictions to come UK & USA, and will be hand in glove with many film releases with spring poking its head! That'll be the £1.50 party ;) (here's hoping)
Welcome Ted.
Your dick's bigger than mine, as are your balls. That will be a nice pay packet come £1.50. Hold long and strong. I'm sure you're accustomed to that!

You need to sign the W-8BEN form, all done through your account on web browser.
If I recall, you have to sign up to some Form/Agreement to allow your account to trade across the pond. Just a 1 min paperwork exercise all done on the HL website...
Youre wrong there, Ive bought Disney shares before in an ISA...
And then the push up into the afternoon and close... Will take 63p close today, and continued 10% rises into the weekend. Really feel this is brewing for a 'out of nowhere' stride north!
The SP has been remarkably stable today... Curious.
I would suspect, if my maths is correct, that we should pass 70p on the way to £1... Pretty sure 70 p is between 61p & 100p.
Hang on, let me got check with my primary school teacher. They're good with numbers.
