Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The size of your shareholding should have no bearing?
Try getting a seat on the board Mani or stopping a resolution and tell me how you get on.
I have no issues with a sensible debate but sadly you never offer one.
You want to know what’s going on?
Spell it out what exactly is it you want to know because “going on” is a rather vague term.
There are lots of things “going on” probably under the heading trial deliverables
I think if you buy 56m more shares you’ll get their access.
Everything you need to know at this point you already know.
We don’t have a PT trial
We don’t have a JV
We don’t have trial start date
Everything you’d like to know that will impact the share price i.e the trial start date isn’t known even to the company.
Anything else is likely highly confidential and subject to non disclosure such as talks with parties about next steps should the trials succeed.
But if like professional you’d like a quarterly update telling you what I just said then knock yourself out with your SM campaign
Doc
I post things that people may not have seen before
The relevance or importance is for the reader to decide.
It’s a change from reading the endless unproductive nonsense that we see here daily.
If you or anyone has a really good example of something current that the board could promote using Professionals quarterly update then please do share.
Personally I want a date for when the trials will start and it’s obvious at least to me that the company don’t have one yet.
If people want there hands held with some banal update saying.
Hello we’re working hard and still smiling whilst trying to deliver H1 “Subject to regulatory approval” then good for them.
If they want a note saying we’re on track “subject to regulatory approval” that’s great but meaningless
It will make zero difference to the share price until
We have a trial start date
I would love some positive comms but sadly at the moment the best the company could provide is banal comms and at worst a long list of things that we wish had happened but haven’t.
If someone has a concrete example of a really positive relevant synairgen comms that represents our current situation please do share
It’s interesting you mention SM because the other week you were telling us no journalist would know what the company was doing unless they knew how to use Twitter?
Also wasn’t there a big presentation with the former head of the USA drug regulator on SM and what was that ITN broadcast with the British Respiratory organisation? Wasn’t that a connective tissue moment.
Doc what’s the difference between telling everyone you’re attending world events and presenting at them and :
“ It encompasses all the little connective tissue posts on SM that remind the world and shareholders that a company is still there and working hard”
Loving the little “connective tissue” comment perhaps you could tell us what that is in a concrete example that the board should have done. Isn’t attending premier world conferences a connective tissue telling people you’re working hard?
So to summarise
One of the top global phamas was prepared to licemse a drug that has been know not to work for 30 years and which isn’t patentable
The leading USA drugs body was prepared to do the same
A multi billion dollar investment fund didn’t realise any of this was the case and invested anyway
LMAO
I wonder why Astra Zeneca offered 200m+ to Synairgen if they could have bought a bottle of Evian mixed in for interferon ?
I wonder why NIH didn’t do the same for the Activ2 trials. Maybe they don’t sell Evian water in the USA.
This board is hilarious at weekends
I guess a quarterly update saying we haven’t achieved a platform trial or gained a government stock piling contract or elicited a JV and the H2 20223 trials we’d planned aren’t going ahead would definitely have created a huge uptick in the share price.
Great piece of advice Professional if somewhat underwhelming
It all depends on the comms
Markets react badly to delays and bad news.
I’m sure you can tell us what piece of comms would have caused a 50-100% rise that the company failed to deliver but knew about and could have let the market know?
Mani
If you think the share would be 50% higher today if only we had a comms from the company saying. “We won’t meet H2 2023 trials” or another now saying we are on track for H1 “subject to regulatory approvals.
You are deluding yourself.
In my view what we all want is an update saying the trial will begin on X date. If the company knew that at this point we would have comms stating it as there’s no earthly point in hiding such information from Investors.
You lack patience and are clearly and understandably frustrated as are we all. But frustration will not make test kits appear or data for patients or regulatory approvals move faster.
