Critical Minerals Prospectus2 Dec 2025 14:02
EnergyPathways plc is delighted to be included in the Critical Minerals Association (UK) 2025/26 Prospectus.
EnergyPathways is advancing the UK’s first large-scale high-grade graphite production capability through its flagship MESH project in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Developed in strategic partnership with Hazer Group Ltd and KBR Inc, global leaders in methane pyrolysis technology, MESH will produce high-purity graphite alongside low-carbon hydrogen in a dual-output model designed to meet a surging demand for a secure supply chain for graphite.
With graphite recognised as a Tier-1 critical mineral by the UK Government and subject to growing geopolitical supply constraints, MESH offers a secure, low-carbon alternative to the current Chinese-dominated global supply chains. MESH’s scale, purity, and strategic location within the UK’s industrial heartland create a compelling long-term value proposition for investors.
By delivering high-purity graphite at scale, MESH will:
• Reduce UK and EU dependence on imported natural graphite
• Support domestic battery manufacturing and energy storage industries
• Align with UK Net Zero and Critical Minerals Strategy objectives
• Provide a resilient, low-carbon supply chain for a Tier-1 critical mineral
In September 2025, the UK Government designated MESH as a development of National Significance under the Planning Act 2008, recognising its strategic role in energy security, industrial decarbonisation, and critical minerals supply.
