After today’s news of Nicola Horlick’s appointment and the subsequent @RoastPR interview highlighting tier one investment and pension funds coming onboard, I feel the investment case at #HAMA @GoldHamak just got a lot stronger.

Here’s the key takeaways from today’s #HAMA interview with Nick Thurlow & @RoastPR

• The aim is the be the “Rolls Royce” of digital and gold asset companies in the eyes of the FCA and the targeted pension funds and tier one investors. Main market listing will help this process.

• Nicola Horlick & Dr Laffer appointed for the high profile connections they have on “Speed dial”.

• 2-3 more key appointments to be announced.

• If even 1% of pension funds deployed investment into digital assets it would represent an “avalanche of money”.

• The aim will be to target tier one investment with worldwide exposure. MBS Global (Middle East), Laffer (US connections), Horlick (UK pension funds).

• Nick Thurlow states they have been approached by “so many people” in the past week and with regard to funding they have “lots of choices… LOTS!”

• OTC and dual listings in the pipeline.

Another high profile appointment from @GoldHamak #HAMA alongside Dr Laffer @realartlaffer

This time it’s “City Superwoman” Nicola Horlick joins as non executive director.

Nicola is a prominent figure in the UK investment industry, with over 35 years of experience in institutional fund management, corporate governance, and financial innovation. She has been described in the British media as the "City superwoman" due to her high-profile career and pioneering success in leading major asset management businesses.

Nicola began her career at S.G. Warburg before moving to Morgan Grenfell Investment Management, where she became Managing Director and oversaw the management of multi-billion-pound institutional portfolios. Over the following five years, funds under management quadrupled.

In 2013, she founded Money&Co, a fintech lending platform focused on providing capital to UK SMEs from institutional and private investors. Nicola continues to serve as CEO of Money&Co. and remains active in the financial services sector, with board-level roles across multiple private companies.

So to summarise, alongside Dr Laffer, the HAMA team just got a lot stronger.

- Small free float (hence why the SP moves rapidly)

- Chairman Nick Thurlow owns 4.26% of the company so alignment with shareholders and minimum dilution likely.

- Warrants locked in for 12 months.

- Dr Arthur Laffer on advisory board.

- 2 more high profile advisory appointments TBA

- $250,000 plus hefty share subscription package incoming from Gold JV partner.

- Chairman Nick Thurlow is the CFO of Qatari MBS global investment group who took part in the initial raise. So signs are good they will partake in further funding rounds.

A compelling story with plenty of news stacked up in the coming days and weeks.

Aside from their primary play: Bitcoin and gold, Nick very wisely stated that in an ever changing landscape of digital assets the company would remain agile and versatile in their approach. This approach would also be influenced by what major institutional investors were looking for in terms of investment direction and risk profiling.

Bitcoin and Gold is the company strategy as per all RNS’s. Nick Thurlow is a seasoned treasury professional so is of course going to be constantly looking to make @GoldHamak as successful as possible. Panic over.

You are aware that the Chairman, Nick Thurlow is the CFO of MBS investment group… the investment arm of the Office of Sheikh Nayef Bin Eid Al Thani. So I’d suggest they know who they’re invested in.

I didn’t take anything negative from the interview and have scoured the company with further due diligence and found nothing worthy of a today’s antics.

There were two sets of people who sold today, those who were in for a trade and saw this as an opportunity to exit and those who were unresearched and didn’t appreciate the real potential.

Exaserpating this scenario were trolls and individuals holding, what they perceive as “rival stocks”.

All it will take to rapidly reverse today’s shenanigans is an update from the company in the form of Kevin’s interview or an RNS and all of a sudden we will be pushing all time highs again.

And to add to the mix, today we gained more attention and are now seen as potentially oversold, so when any whiff of positive news arrives this will rerate hard… and we’ve seen how fast this can move with such a limited free float.

I’m intrigued. What started off as a simple, very successful, trade in #HAMA @GoldHamak, has turned into something more, and the more I learn, the more my interest is piqued.

Yesterday’s partnership with @ArchaxEx and claims of creating “Institutional-Grade Infrastructure” sounds like a company wanting to create something more than a #Bitcoin Treasury meme stock. These are bold claims, but the team have the skill set and funding to give credence to these ambitions.

First of all there’s the advisory appointment of world renowned economist Dr Laffer @realartlaffer, secondly the experience of Nick Thurlow in capital fund raising and thirdly the investment and continued involvement of Qatar-based MBS Global Investments (where Thurlow is CFO).

At this stage it’s a RvR play, but if they do as they plan to then it could get very interesting very fast.

And with plenty of news lined up and more big name advisory appointments TBA, it’s certainly one to keep an eye on.

With Rakbank announced as the first Middle Eastern bank to be adopting Crypto and today’s US Fed Crypto report, things are hotting up!

my take on why someone like @realartlaffer would want to get involved with the new kid on the #bitcoin block #hama @goldhamak

i think the idea of mr laffer being attracted by a hefty fee for his advisory services is far too simplistic and somewhat disrespectful to someone of his stature.

i think that mr laffer is at a stage in his career where “money” isn’t the driver behind his decisions, and with that in mind i think the “draw” for him will be leaving a legacy and the idea of the hama #bitcoin treasury “differentiating” itself from its peers and the potentially innovative way in which they plan to do this has attracted his attention.

however, a good idea would only go so far and he’d need some solid assurances, so he will only have got on board having been convinced that there will be substantial financial support and funding in place to action those big ambitions. a compelling ****tail!

A #Bitcoin Treasury trade with a bit of a point of difference from all the other treasury plays. At #HAMA I think the Middle Eastern Investment connection via MBS Global, incoming funds from the gold JV, Nick Thurlows vast experience in raising large sums of money, Art Laffer’s appointment and much anticipated news flow made me stop and think… Maybe this has a move in it.

Also the potential of a substantial capital raise via CLN etc was interesting, as is the fact that warrant holders are locked in for 12 months much akin to #SWC
