Blimey another red one, that was quick, think he must be stuck to the screen, did not even had time to switch my lap top off. LOL

My screen is full of the red filter messages every day of the week. I for one totally ignore the rubbish but am now sick and tired of seeing the red messages so I am not reading this board until he is gone. Better things to do with my life.

In respect to Costas 45 shares:-

The SP last Friday was around 1.85 so I worked out the following.

1.85 plus Stamp duty at .5% = 1.8525 plus levy & commission at 2% that gives 1.8965

So I think his reinvestment at 1.90 per share is roughly correct.

It would be good to see any news !!!!

I was on the understanding that an announcement was to be issues withing 2 weeks, this has now passed. Do you think it will be this week ????? The SP seems to have stagnated at 1.21 maybe there is a reason for this.

Last two good posts :-) An old story as not much on here ATM.

I recall back in the mid 2000's when I worked for TW and in the Share save scheme, but not really interested in dealing or much clue how it worked. I had accumulated nearly 9,000 shares over the years worked that were eventually worth £4/5+
Then while on site for over four years on a project found out that the SP was falling away but I did not take too much attention and thought they would get back up but no they fell to around 4p and I did not realise how much I lost, ( on paper but still lost big time, when I could have sold and made a huge profit ) I did not sell but held for years until I bought more in the scheme then had a chance for the 25p share offer. It took years to get back to an acceptable level and still here.

So I totally agree with the change in circumstances as I was part of it and will never forget it, will not make another mistake like that and it was indeed a lesson learnt for sure.

Yes I totally agree, when I feel its a good price I do buy more ( top up ) on the drop, that's what dealing is all about surely. But if you read my posts re anticipated dealings I am always talking to one or another friend on this board to give my personal intention ! It is not intended to advise other to do the same or influence them, it is my opinion only.

You have said yourself "at the moment,they are cheap" and I agree with you. I have just bought back some at 169 so in my opinion that was a good top up. I intend to hold long term or when an opportunity arrives to sell or buy a rung or two, but only when the time is right and after my own research on which way I think the market will move.

You may be right that the SP could well be downward for a few years, but on the other hand they could return to an upward trend, who knows !!! that's why I try and day trade on the rises and falls.

My post actually said "Lets get back to the good old £2 soon." and I really can not classify that as much vaunted ?

We are well undervalued and should be above 200 now ! the main reason is purely down to the uncertainty with Brexit and a no deal scenario. My post also said all my shares were currently down and IMO it is due to the same reason as most markets are taking a hammering lately.

TW are in a great financial and land bank position and have a good outlook for the future, however we as other house builders are suffering at reduced SP that reflects the current market uncertainties..

late May when we were over £2+ and that's just over 10 weeks ago !! so I do feel we can and will return soon and that's not joking just a hope.
