If you read the thread correctly I did not suggest 2.5. My post yesterday 12:47 said " 2.5 would be very nice indeed " and that was in reply to Tom-Vast at 12:43 where he said "hopefully we will sit at 2.5 after next results from HV. I’d be happy with that as the new base"

Yes I totally agree and that's what baffles me too. I appreciate many saying patience but it is dragging on a bit without any form of news. Seeing the SP drop back to the 180's is another spanner in the works as far as I am concerned, I would not mind but surely this should be above 2p not falling back on the weeks.

Maybe a little cheer up tomorrow with a nice RNS ????

Yes I see where you are coming from, however IMO 2-3 weeks may be a lot of wasted drilling time, that could take us into May before we even start to drill ? !

Maybe they could agree to carry on with the original drilling plans with DDH1 with NC management to allow further planning ??? just a thought.

My final thoughts are did they have some clue that NC was going to place a deal earlier ?? as deals do not just fly off the table.

Food for thought as we are waiting.

I forgot to say that you can not really say " you are completely wrong about the drilling date" as the only date we have ATM is the original Q1 date where it was stressed that drilling would commence in March. That is the only date we actually have as the new RNS says "it is expected that drilling at Havieron will recommence in April 2019, under Newcrest's management and at Newcrest's expense, and subject to Newcrest receiving all required regulatory and heritage approvals"

It does not say it WILL recommence it states It is expected !!!

That was the whole point of my post where I said we were awaiting firm news re :-Why should it start with no information for the shareholders. None of us know when they even intend to start let alone how, where and other very important detail. We do not know even who and what company is to carry out the drilling.

Hopefully that clears up what I meant.

I do apologise I meant Q2 but we all know the new start is due to commence later possibly in April.

The original start date was Q1 to start March.

"The Company expects to re-commence drilling at Havieron in March 2019 and currently two rigs are booked with provision for extra capacity if required."

mickey hi, with respect that's what many said last week and the week before !!!!

Next week is April and the drilling was to start Q1 as far as I can recall. Why should it start with no information for the shareholders. None of us know when they even intend to start let alone how, where and other very important detail. We do not know even who and what company is to carry out the drilling. They must have known inside information quite a while ago so to leave these details to now is a bit concerning in my opinion to say the least.

That's why I asked the question, and believe its now well overdue and should be released today not next week or the week after.

Finally Any news would be welcome to give a bit of confidence and encouragement to some that have lost same.

All IMO of course may be a bit of frustration is setting in. :-)

What are the chances of seeing a 2nd RNS and the "one" we want to see today ????? Now that would be the start of a good w/e.

Anyway if we dont have a good one all. :-)

Before they start to drill or even get anywhere near the drilling results there must be news on :-

1. Program of works including when and where they intend to commence, including Firetower & Blackhills, etc.
2. Drilling and exploration schedules
3. Who will be the drilling company / contractor.
4. Where does DDH.1 stand and if they will take on all drilling works.

There is much more to set out and agree before drilling or results maybe that's why we are all waiting for this news, one would assume so. !!!!!

Back to GGP. I was hoping for the release of the update program of works by now, maybe tomorrow, last day of the month. Works to commence April so the update that they said would be released in March is now overdue in my opinion.
