lol… i agree… you’re not looking to transfer the open offer entitlements out of the isa account… you’re asking them to take up the open offer from within the isa account… using cash from your non-isa account or another payment method if preferred… and then for them to immediately move the shares from the isa account to the non-isa account once they are received in the isa account… just as hmrc require them to… it’s not rocket science you know… ;) lol… probably isn’t as easy for them to do… as it sounds though…

worth reading this hmrc link that ob posted… and speaking to your isa manager to see if he will do what hmrc says he should… before giving any of them up as a lost cause…

no worries… they aren’t being transferred… they’re just being acquired by me outside the isa… not that you would… but i can choose to have dividends within my isa account… paid directly into my non-isa account… it’s the same thing…

i haven’t received my offer just yet bannor… but when i do… i will be referring my isa manager to hmrc’s statement on how they should use cash in my non-isa account to buy my entitlements inside the isa… and put those shares straight into my non-isa account… ready to be bed and isa’d in the coming tax year…

‘an investor may give an isa manager sufficient cash to take up the offer outside the isa… provided the isa manager immediately transfers the investments to the investor to be held outside the isa’…

hmrc definitely refer to rights issues and other offers… this being an open offer… should qualify…

what deadline are they giving…

resolution 5 was specifically your pre-emptive rights… which would have given shareholders the right to their full pro-rata amount of shares to maintain their % holdings… whenever any new shares are allotted… not just 5% as it is with the open offer…
yes… they are your shares to accept…
yes… you can apply for additional shares that become available from shareholders who do not take up their 5% entitlement…

out of interest… who here voted against agm resolution 5 (15%)… but is not taking up the open offer… for one reason or another… it will be a bit disappointing if this open offer is a flop… and the bod don’t do it again next time… it’s for all our benefit to partake at the same discounted price that the placing was offered at…

yes… i was hoping to flip 2.5% of my holdings so i can buy back my 5% open offer… particularly in my maxed out isa’s… i’m ringing the mm’s and asking if they wouldn’t mind doubling the sp for an hour or so… lol…

be interesting to see who the institutional investors are… if any have gone through the 3% notifiable threshold…

the fundraise was significantly oversubscribed in both the placing and subscription and the directors of the company are delighted by the support from existing shareholders and new investors… including institutional investors…
