The Project sensitivity analysis demonstrates that the Amapá Project is mainly sensitive to a change in Fe price… it’s a significant improvement that will make those a little bit easier to secure… how does this affect the $2bn npv10…

Will be interesting to see if they wrap an option for the stockpiles at the port into the deal for the Azteca offtake…

Details of Railway Concession…

The reinstatement of the Concessions were agreed between Cadence, Indo Sino Pte. Ltd. ("Indo Sino"), and the government of Amapá, including the state secretary of transport, state secretary of planning, state secretary of the environment, attorney generals office and the office of the Governor of Amapá…

The Concessions are in force for the life of the mine and allows DEV's 100% owned subsidiary to operate the railway, for the primary purpose of the transport of iron ore over 180 km from the mine to the it's port in Santana. The railway will be maintained and improved to an initial capacity of approximately 5.5 million tonnes of iron ore per annum and will provide a passenger and good service. The Concessions also allows DEV to expand the capacity of the railway to transport other goods, should there be commercial demand…

Following the Company's update on 3 December 2024, Cadence is pleased to report significant advancement regarding the granting of the key installation licences for the mine, railway, and port infrastructure at Amapá…

As disclosed on 11 September 2023, the Project benefits from its previous operational status, with historical licences and data enabling the Amapá State Environmental Agency ("SEMA") to endorse an expedited permitting process. Generally, the licensing cycle comprises three years of environmental studies and up to two years of formal review. However, SEMA consented to a revised timeline, supported by an agreed Terms of Reference ("ToR") and the submission of an environmental control plan, due to the site's legacy and existing environmental footprint…

The Project has delivered all the documents on time and as requested under the ToR, anticipating receipt of the full grant of licences by the end of 2024. However, SEMA subsequently requested several additional documents and studies. The majority of these have now been completed or are in advanced stages of completion…

Railway Installation License…

Approximately 95% of the requirements for the railway installation licence have been fulfilled, with the final technical steps ongoing…

I believe that as a shareholder… you can request to view the shareholder register held by the company… i assume that includes the lists of shareholders that they get in the tr-1’s from the nominee accounts… maybe something to request is available to view at / after the agm… for those taking the effort and making the trip to the smoke to attend in person… kill 2 🦅 🦅 with 1 🪨…
