i disagree... irrespective of whether the dfs includes jv... even in the short term... progress instead of failure... however small the step... further reduces the risks overall...

good to hear they are now able to place orders for the long lead plant... rotary kiln and acid plant... the two red critical path items pushing the development programme out every week of delay on ordering...

hard to guess the why’s and what for’s... bcn are looking for funding... the only reason for the price drop since christmas... is for someone to get more for less...

can never discount the worst addicknt... but i’m more inclined to think it hasn’t started yet... and no money has been drawn down yet either... i wouldn’t think it’s been withdrawn though... but is there ready and waiting... for when they have secured the rest of the funding... or at least the 80% required for the last tranch... you’ve got to think that the bonds will be launched onto the market at the same time as the project starts... i’d assume rk have done their homework and have buyers lined up and secured already... 6 and 20yr terms from that point... interest payments commencing on the main bond when the money is draw down at that point too... it’s the only way to link it all together... that i can see... that gives them 24months to complete construction and commissioning... to then commence the cash repayments of the main bond interest and start paying off the small one... via lce sales...
