interesting ganfeng have fixed the date for their next board meeting... tuesday 30th march lol... same day our ship’s due in... and just in time for the start of the new financial year 21/22... and new quarter q221...

yep... that’s basically the only reason i could see the need for them to have 2 classes of shares... so for example... for every $1 bcn put into the pot... ganfeng put in $2... or $3... or whatever... but both retained their 50:50% voting rights... allowing ganfeng to ramp up production from sonora at a faster rate than bcn could ever dream of...

generally... you would only normally need two or more classes of shares... if they were carrying a different value... but retaining the same voting rights... or no voting rights at all... which could be useful if ganfeng wanted to ramp ‘x’ times the amount that bcn are capable of funding...

sonora lithium shares now re-designated... anyone have prior experience with jv co’s know why they would need / want to do that... i can only think of one atm...

think of it on a similar basis that indo are transferring their credits into the jv... the money they lent to dev... to be paid back to pba... in exchange for their pba shareholding’s... same thing but different lol...

i would actually take it as a negative signal... if we were to take any repayments in cash... it would suggest that we won’t be exercising our 27% dip b option... (what’s the point them paying us back one day... for us to just give it them back the next)... let the interest accrue... and knock it all off the bill when we exercise... ;)

i am of the opinion that we lent them the money already... at the 1st attempt to start shipping... the one that got suspended... i don’t think they have paid any repayments to date... and as previously posted... i’m not expecting them to do so... (didn’t kiran also say the loan would go towards the dip b financing)...

i don’t think so ob... i don’t think dev will pay back the loan... not in cash anyway... ;)
$10m net... i’m thinking that may equate to 3 ships at 45,000t/ship... roughly 10% of the stockpiles at the time the suspension was overturned... +/- whatever... although irrelevant if the settlement is completed before the shipments...
which is why i’m intrigued as to where you see three dev slots... before i got to see the two on the schedule currently... (but i’m happy / rather not know if you think it could risk the feed)...
