All eyes on the Nike earnings later tonight.

I’ve registered to watch, shall be watching the Nike share in pre-market/afterhours too.

I was half tempted to buy some Nike shares, I think I’m deep enough with £50,000 in JD Sports at this rate.

Just come back from Newport Retail Park, the shops are crazy busy this evening! JD Gym wasn’t very busy, but I’m assuming they’re all shopping or at Christmas parties, they’ll be rammed come January!

I completely agree with you sundezena, this is really undervalued.

I’m just gutted I sold 33,000 shares at £1.73! Erkkkk haha! I think I missed out on something like a £42k gain between then and now, the only thing that’s making me laugh right now is knowing I didn’t have to pay HMRC nearly £8,000 of that in CPT ;)

It was a joke yeah, I just thought you lot needed to be brought down a level or two after this huge bull run I missed out on ;) Hahaha!

Long term this shares worth £2+ easily.

UK is small fry for JD Sports these days, look at the potential they’ve now got in the US and across the world, check latest annual report for store numbers.

This share should be well over £2+

We’ve had a 5% pay rise in work backdated to April. It’s just a circle that goes on every year lately. Pay rise, higher inflation/prices, another pay rise and so on so forth.

I’m in the Merthyr Tydfil store right now, the tills are rammed, there’s quite a large queue, and that’s at 13:50pm on a Tuesday. Positive news, lots of people spending!

I just visited the store in Caerphilly, South Wales.

Whilst it’s a tiny store it still had plenty of customers with lots of discounts on offer.

I’ll visit the Merthyr Tydfil store later today and update.

I’m very deep into this now, this is my biggest holding to date with 45,750 shares at a 104p average.

Also if it’s going to drop to the 70-80p levels why not sell your holding and buy back cheaper? ;)

you do are realise this business turns over £11,000,000,000 a year, don’t you causal?

just because you won’t pay £100 for quality, doesn’t mean others won’t, i don’t shop at pea****s, primark, asda, or any of the budget retailers for clothes, buy cheap you buy twice imo. there will always be the budget folks and the people who want good quality products and a great shopping experience.
