Are these your photos you took today of the store you visited?

The only real discounting I’ve seen are a few lines such as the North Face beanie hats, and a few other products, such as some socks (very few)

There have been a couple of rails at the front of the stores with end of line / last season products but very little generally.

I purchased an Adidas Hoodie at full price £50.00

And a Nike 6 pack of socks reduced from £25 to £15.

I collected my click and correct order yesterday, everything was perfect! the Newport, South Wales was busy, with 3 out of 4 tills in operation at the time of me visiting, very busy with customers. I visited at 5:30pm and you honestly couldn’t get a parking space in Newport Spytty.

I’ve got a small-ish holding of 50,000 shares at 103p average.

I sold out two of my holdings in the past at 130p and made a few grand each time.

I’ll hold and look for around 140-150p ideally.

I ordered two items last night for click and collect, at 22:52 - It advised me that this could take 3-5 days to arrive into store, 19:23pm tonight my order is ready for collection, less than 24 hours.

I’m very impressed!

Yeah, but 79% of the London SE is red today and all of American is red too, soooo hmmm.

I know this is from August 2024…

However this brand is looking rather cheap for a takeover bid or buy out by larger shareholders.

They offer same day collection on online orders for click and collect, which is great as they’ve clearly got a live and modern stock control system.

I know a thing or two about ePOS systems, stock control, and warehousing, and back office systems as that’s part of my day job for a certain organisation, so this stuff does interest me.

I opted for the 3-5 working day collection, to see how that fairs.

I’ll update you once the order has been dispatched and when it arrives for collection…

I just placed an order on the JD Sports website for click and collect for £65…. I’ve done my bit! ;)

I’ll be honest, I fancied a hoodie I saw in store but they didn’t have my size so, bosh.

Good way to test out how quickly this arrives etc too.
