It appears apparent that price manipulation is at work here, the pattern is the same day after day and it is most certainly not the force of buying and selling because it is so controlled and obvious.
We have known for years that it's been the most played share but in the current circumstances of spiraling oil prices and sudden dividend awards you would think it was a dangerous play but some have the confidence to stay onside no matter what.
It does not affect me personally because I sit and hold as throughout the 12 year journey and I would not have a clue when or where.
I do realise the UK is one of the most corrupt economies in the world where wealth can be obtained suddenly for those in positions of trust but the stock market will be the last gamble for many of us and I can't wait for the day my holding is sold once and forever.
I was caught out today sitting on the last divi awaiting a dip and was almost tempted at 2.61 yesterday but with today's unexpected news I managed a buy of 2000 at 2.84.1.
It is too risky to judge atm and as today shows you don't know when and where the next news announcement is coming.
Does anyone think people like me who invested our lives and futures in this share care one jot how and where it goes, I just want my money back and I'll run away or hobble.
It's all right for the professional posters on this board who churn out facts and figures and then claim the long-term strategy in their game plan is the correct way, is complete rubbish to someone like me with no long-term in their future.
I have witnessed good people pass away and their dreams went with them, we entered this share when it was a dry well and now we are told what the best route is for GKP but F*** GKP I wish I had never heard of it,
This share has stolen what should have been the best years after working my socks off for years and this is my personal scammer, some of these city crooks are bigger scammers than a few bank robbers I encountered growing up in Londons East End during the 50s and 60s.
Just pay me back what I invested by dividends because the last buyback was another rip-off by the market makers and anyone calling for further buybacks is standing to rip us off once more.
You can only skin a cat once.
Rhena.
It's a discussion board and seeing as you don't post that often there would be nothing to read if everyone posted as often as you, use the delete poster option is your best option but in the meantime, I do hope Opu keeps posting because it's good news and we LTH holders have suffered enough of the gloom over the years.
We have been together completely happy for 34 years (shame we had no kids) but I was able to provide my wife with early retirement so we have traveled together far and wide, but my mother had the dreaded Alzheimers at 96 and managed to see her 100th and my wife helped me take care of her and now I'm returning the thanks by helping her to care for her mother.
I now feel that I have been caring for GKP for over 12 years,
****eye.
I married between the two, wife 62 and her mother 86.
After the father-in-law passed, on holiday I would tell folk that I was the toyboy and others that I was the sugar daddy, I created a few rumours and the wife used to get annoyed but we used to laugh it off ;-)
