"Hi Cookie,
The true number of Long Term Holders is almost certainly extremely low.
The number of Day Traders flying under false LTH colours, however, is extremely high"
I have never sold any of my holding once but then again I don't keep posting my position but I am surprised the boiler room know such statistics.
"Like i said good luck and i may see you again sometime in the future"
But you gave us the benefit of your wisdom once again in the reasoning, which if you are leaving for the umpteenth time just close the door on the way out, are you so vain that you think we need your announcements, just pass the baton on to the next boiler room member.
IF you buy in again I have no wish to know so there is no need to tell us when you sell, BYE that's not a BUY recommendation.

"The first two times this year the outcome was less than optimal because the price kept dropping, so by waiting I would have been able to buy more shares."
I do the same but halved the "buy" edging my bets thinking I would do the other "buy" post pay day.
Only half right for me but I'm happy.
Yesterday was a buy opportunity that's not to say it will not drop again, the past patterns have nothing to do with the present, news will be the driver more than ever, I dipped my toe in yesterday and will now wait to see what post divi day brings in the following weeks after.

With the markets in turmoil and added to the new tax hike announced yesterday it must increase the selling point of ISA's and holding dividend paying shares such as GKP at present.
As much as I previously vowed never to introduce my zero interest hard earned ever again to the markets it is looking pretty tempting currently unless Mop head decides that ISA's are the next target.
GKP has a speculative risk rating and is stacking up cash, for now. If it is as good as you want people to believe, why doesn't the chairman buy any, Tom 48? Which moniker are you on ADVFN? He didn't buy even when the oil price curve was in contango, did he? And our BoD don't appear to have any plans to buy in the shares for cancellation when it is logical to do so if they are confident in the success of the production expansion plans and the oil price remaining high (if I may simplify things, and leave out all the other risks SS refuses to admit are present).
I have only been on here same monika (Tom48) for 14 plus years and the only other place I posted was iii (Radetzsky1) but I have seen many others posting in different guises over the years and as for ADVFN I only view its live charts and have never read or posted a word on there.
I met many at the court but I have seen them disappear, never spoken a word with oilman but exchanged a few words with his female companion.
I have no agenda with any group but just laugh at the those that keep changing their wardrobe every so often.
