Yes his % holding has reduced but I assume that is because he did not take part in the $30m placing in September , so his shareholding will have been diluted.

If you look at the TR1 15th July when his holding rose to 8.19% he had 101507759 voting rights /shares ( assuming 1 vote per share ) , compare that to the TR1 24th Dec when his % holding dropped to 7.59% you will see he still holds 101507759 voting rights/shares .

I think it was just a late TR1 informing the market of his reduced % holding of the company as there were a further 79,726,389 shares in issuance

His crossing of the the threshold will have come long after this was all negotiated.

If Mangrove are still short , depends on how diligent they are with their reporting , of course you are aware , as you know all about it, there is a cost of borrow on shorting - on a position they have been out of the money for quite a while .

In Q1 2023 they had $1.5B in Capital - currently $0.92B - Well their whole portfolio isn't doing very well then !

One point I do agree with you on - JamesSimon - you don't do yourself any favours - if you do have a position that big - fair play but you go on about it so much it makes it hard to believe - I am not saying you don't but maybe rein it in a bit

I did listen and he clearly states the share price of 1.1p at the start , the part you are mentioning is a generalisation about penny stocks .

The 50% non pre emption concerned me as well and I have also taken that view re II investors - it will probably a raise that we may not be party to , hence dilution . But if the science is good and succesful , as said before , we have had a market cap way in excess of where we are now without the progress we have achieved and as Mr Jinx points out hopefully with successful trials we can get back there again , our gains may not be as great as we had ionitially hoped but hopefully it will prove worthwhile - that is why we are invested

I get what you are saying but in the RNS it states "followed by a consolidation of the New Ordinary Shares by 400:1 so that every 400 New Ordinary Shares will be consolidated into 1 New Ordinary Share of £0.01 each" so the nominal will still be £0.01 but obviously the share price will be 400x higher than the price on consolidation and hence they will be able to issue shares as price wont be below nominal - I think we accept that there will be some dilution at some point after that.

Though I also can see the point that just because the share price has a larger handle on it the market cap is the same so why should that make funding any easier

I am being cautious and trying to see what could be underhand in what they are trying to do - unforunately they have let us down numerous times before - but unless I am missing something here I can't see it at the moment .

More than happy for someone to explain to me otherwise - that is what discussions are for and beneficial for everyone

Consolidation is not dilution - yes it opens us up to dilution and there proabaly will be some but we were worth 5x this not so long back band we are far further advance now , so if that dilution helps push us to a market cap way way in excess to where we are now , well happy days
