Anybody else finding it hard to trade these shares? I’m with HL and looking to sell in order to buy back through an issue account. I can’t sell anything from 2,000 up to 100,000 shares. Reply annoying me now.
Thanks Senator,
What I did take from the seminar was that they’re especially looking to knock repeat lending on the head. In my own mind I concluded that this is where the real problem lay, perhaps relying upon the first selection process too heavily and therefore not performing due diligence. I think that the current BOD are being careful not to make definite conclusions at this stage having only been involved for a short period of time in what has become a 2year legacy issue.
If nothing happens before January I should be able to do that, but fully invested to average down at the moment. Each one has to work out what’s best for their circumstances I gues. Unfortunate that I didn’t learn about the ISA arrangement until already invested
Absolutely. I’m only invested to shy of 20k at the moment and looking to invest here for a couple of years at least, so will wait until the department opens again and take 20k through to an ISA leaving the remainder in a standard account.
I tried to bed and ISA with HL a couple of days ago but due to COVID that department isn’t operating. The only offer they could make at present was to sell, wait for the proceeds to clear 2-3 days and then rebuy... losing time and the spread, so I’m waiting for the department to reopen.
I’m beginning to think Hound dog isn’t very good at with his advice... he told us to get out at 6p... going bust by the end of the the year. Yesterday morning. The SP’s going to be 1.5p by the end of the day. Yesterday after the results , the business will be bankrupt in the next 6 months, and now describing the Board as inexperienced... He told us all to jump into NSF, but only yesterday used them as an example of a failed share.
I think I’ll make up my own mind what to do with my money.
Thanks anyway Hound. I know you mean well, as you’re clearly using your very precious time on here for the well-being of strangers.
If it helps you with your trading, my 5 year old thinks that smarties are a good commodity to invest in.
Evening all, sorry if this has been covered. Was anything mentioning during this morning’s Q&A about reviewing payouts already made by Amigo? Quite a revelation that 50% of the recent automated claims via CMC’ were bogus either for fictional customers or repeat claims. I just wondered if this has been a long term practice and whether under previous management Amigo just paid out. I was working and had clients popping in and out this morning so didn’t catch it all...
I don’t believe that anybody can convince anyone one way or the other with this stock. I’m not a ramper or a deramper. I am however an investor because I’ve convinced myself that this will be good.
My reasoning is simple. The fundamentals of this business in an operating capacity with no claims is 10 to 20 times its current sp. I think everyone agrees on that.
I worried for some time that the business would be lost. What has changed that, is the new board. GJ continues to draw in quality people all of whom have proven track records in their field. They can’t tell us what goes on behind closed doors for confidential reasons, but their appointments in themselves speak volumes... to me at least. None of these individuals would put their careers on the line if they thought that this was a sinking ship. They would have examined the financials and all data to hand before accepting their roles. Read through the merits of his senior staff and you have all the right ingredients for an incredible business...
Save one! The claims. Thursday all will be revealed. The question is there for each one to determine what can be read into the above prior to Thursdays RNS. I’m in and have been for some time. If I lose my investment so be it, it won’t change my life. If it rockets then great. But that’s my personal perspective and I would never risk more than I can afford to lose. Others who are more risk averse, and perhaps sensibly so will wait until after the RNS and invest then. What you do has to be right for you....
I personally think that the sp will dip slightly and then climb. DYOR and TYOR
Thanks for that Post No Fear.
This is what the bb is for, sharing info, yes even sometimes info that may affect the share negatively. At the same time you have to speculate to accumulate. There are no guarantees. If you don’t have foresight or the conviction of your own research, then don’t invest, but don’t knock those who do!
I’m invested long term here for better or worse. My choice, my risk, based on my research and I will be the one to live with the rewards or the consequences of my decision.
