The sp seems to love 125. Just looked back comparing BTC price and Argo prices on dates where Argo hits 125. It crossed in July when Bitcoin was at 34k and again in August btc at 44k. Doesn’t make sense to me but there it is. (Also a holder)
Nice to see I’m not the only one still checking in here. How has the rest of the year been to you all? I’m still working on recovering from losses here but my qbt shares have just helped towards it
Any viewpoint on here will of course be biased by the writers personal circumstances, but agree personally that it makes sense for the company to continue, especially given that none of the original parties responsible for the companies failings are any longer involved with the company. It makes sense that customers owed redress get something rather than nothing. And from my own personal view, shareholders have jointly lost a fortune throughout this given that at one time the share price was £3 and now trading at less than 14p. But my opinion counts for nothing, it’s down to the courts primarily and the FCA to make the ultimate decisions affecting this business. Hopefully they will take the same view as us.

DYOR is Do Your Own Research… used on all bulletin boards (BB’s) it means don’t take anything as gospel on here. Make sure you research it for yourself.
SOA is something that we’re all hoping will happen for the company. It means “Scheme Of Arrangement”. Amigo currently owes redress due to “miss-sold” products to its customers. The amount owing is more than the company is worth. If the company does not enter into an SOA then any and frankly all assets will be repaid to its bond holders who have a first claim to any proceeds. As such those to whom redress is owed will get nothing and the business will be liquidated with shareholders losing everything.
If an SOA is agreed then a portion albeit small will be paid to those owed redress and the company will continue to operate. The big question then is , will an SOA be agreed and if so, what will the terms be and therefore mean for us as investors. I hope that covers it., but as always DYOR
Just bought my first Bitcoin on revolution. Thanks for the tip K3VMC.
It was really easy to set up. The fee for standard is 2.5%. 1.5% applies to that’s with paid subscription so I guess you need to work out what is best for you.
So Schalf, you’re saying that there is an alleged stealing taken place. If that we’re the case then surely police would be involved and this would be a criminal matter. As I understood it and of course stand to be corrected, the claim is over money to be compensated following a malpractice, hence the need to have the amount of compensation due valued by independent sources. This of course would be the purpose in having insurance…
