You do understand that quantum computers are a real thing Olderbrain and presumably you’ve researched D-wave whom QBT are associated with. Not sure therefore why you would perpetually be asking if the “Mad Professor had built his computer yet”? He isn’t even trying to, and if you don’t understand so little about this company, why would I or anybody else on this board ever listen to your ramblings especially when you clearly aren’t invested, have no intentions of doing so and are so desperate to spend every waking hour including your evenings and weekends berating a random company??? Go out and get a life.
£110 million on Arb’s best day, not £110 billion.
Agree with the sentiments 600, just tidying up the figures there. News will come. If it’s good news and I hope it is then what QBT are trying to achieve could replace the way Bitcoin is mined across the planet. How much would that be worth per share?
It seems that some have different opinions as to what QBT are trying to achieve. My own take and please correct me if I’m wrong, is to produce our own specially developed asic chips which will work in harmony with optimised software. The chips I have always thought would only be used by QBT to mine for ourselves. (Hence the analogy of not selling the money making machine) I think I read somewhere that we have reserved production time at a global 5nm chip producing factory early 2023, hence the continued adjustments to the design. At the same time preparations have been made to utilise Quantum computers to mine for Bitcoin, and we are waiting for the technology now and production by D-wave to catch up with the QBT team. These factors, for me making this an investment well into next year at the earliest. I’m currently holding over 500,000 shares in case you’re wondering where my sentiments lie.
Am I off the mark here?
I imagine that the testing period won’t be a case of flick a switch and see what comes out the other end. There must be testing, interim results, adjustments and optimisations to the algorithms That all takes time. Patience is key from an SP point of view. I wouldn’t want or expect FG to release data before the final product has been achieved. In the mean time fluctuations in the SP are there to make traders and MM’s money. I’m an investor, so happy to wait.
463,000 for me… first bought on 11th Feb 2021 at 0.78p… wished I’d bought more then!! Average now at 2.3p happy to hold for 2-3 years or until the share price exceeds £1. I have no set plan, but confident that the SP will continue to rise, just a question of how fast and how high.
I think that the RNS offers more than simply an extension to paying back moneys. It’s also a statement of confidence. These bond holders will have their finger on the pulse of the company. The extension implies their confidence in the future of the company beyond 2024.
