Strange woman, I think you’re confused as to the purpose of the FCA. They are there to protect the interests of the consumer. The interests lie currently in getting the best possible redress for the consumers that the law states have been miss sold. Closing Amigo down will not achieve this. Amigo and it’s financial backers also have the legal right to step away from the business and reinvest their moneys elsewhere if they feel that it is in their interests to do so. It’s a fine balance and as shareholders we are caught in the middle of it. With new leadership and improved regulation, Amigo can provide a necessary service to thousands of needy individuals in the future. That’s why I’m invested here. I hope that this coming year will see everyone get the best result possible, including people who have been genuinely miss sold in the past.

I was concerned that the BOD may be too focused on the R&D given that they’re predominantly from academic and research backgrounds. Yesterdays RNS proved that they’re paying equal attention to the profitability of the share and have their finger on the pulse to make the right decisions to produce the best returns. To be honest Chaebol, I think people are just bored of you. 37 posts today and 13 of them from you, mostly moaning about how you’re treated. I value input and if you have some to give then I will appreciate it, but please lay down your “facts”, and leave the petty squabbling out of it. ( goes for both sides!) Then let all the adults decide the right course of action and risk for themselves.

To be fair though Jimbob, the final paragraph of that RNS still leaves us in Limbo. Throughout the whole process there have been little to no details presented to the shareholders.

Mara down 11.45% today, Arb due a rerate when they eventually get things in order IMO, but that’s all it is… someone’s opinion.

It’s a fair question Bo77ock7. As already stated the R&D programme is already funded. I believe that once this part of the process has been completed that everyone will want a part of what’s to come next. That will give various options to raise capital for mining purposes or whichever avenue the board decides to take this at the time. I take great comfort in knowing that the board and key members of the team have aligned themselves with shareholders by way of their options plan. As such I can’t see dilution after dilution destroying the SP. All in my opinion of course, but I could be anything from a spud peeler to an MP, so what do I know…

Total guess here as my Chrystal ball’s being repaired…

Sorry Sash, I should add to the previous comment that I transferred in batches rather than in one go and it worked out ok for me…

Hard to answer that one Sash as it depends entirely on your circumstances and timing. Have to balance how much CGT you will pay above the 10k threshold and how much you potentially could loose in the transfer with spread and so movement. I had the same problem with HL and switched months ago but takes about 3 days to get cleared funds to transfer.

Longest weekend ever. I’m sure I need new batteries in the clock… must buy some paint so I can watch it dry next weekend!

Hi IK. Did they give you no notification at all. Not sure how that can be right with no RNS or info. I’m on with HL, still showing there but simply as N/A. Worried now that it’ll disappear too. (Not that I’m expecting to get anything back at this point, just the principal of it)
