I'm not all negative, as I've said before, on the positive side, the Rio JV interests me greatly. This article posted yesterday is interesting, because I can't see Rio wanting Newmont to be top dog for long!

Thanks Fubar, I wonder if that was arranged prior to the Newmont final bid? as I can't see he can speak about much without risking confidentiality, unless there's some news prior to that hopefully?

TomE, with respect, not many of us have bought in at 0.0199 like you, so we don't have the luxury of losing so little if it comes to pass, and by the sounds of it, you've already lifted a mountain in the 30ps from here, so I don't think you can preach to others when you've already lifted a number of shares off from the table.

@NewcrestMining Greatland shareholders are involved in a JV with yourselves as you have a JV with Greatland. We are entitled to see the updated MRE that you seem to be holding yet you refuse to produce it. to Shaun Day. Why aren't you prepared to release it? Does it mean Greatland shareholders will have to consider taking legal action for disclosure of the same? Really doesn't bode well, and the non disclosure is not aiding our share price. imo.

It's time Shaun Day started earning his money and more, we need a proper PR machine, he needs to be demanding that MRE from Newcrest as we are entitled to see its contents, makes me wonder whether as shareholders we should demand as a collective that it's revealed otherwise we'll take legal action for its disclosure. Too much cloak and dagger in AIM and it's not good enough.

MH01 it might be different for you, but I'm currently 36k in the red, something I didn't expect, as I'd averaged down a bit , but can't afford to average down any more, so it's not a pretty sight for me, and probably far worse for many others. The ones currently ramping this /voicing positivity are no doubt those who are still in positive territory sp wise otherwise I'm sure you'd also be voicing concerns. My worry is if the company do nothing and let it slip down to 5p or below, then what? The Newmont deal alone isn't going to lift us, buying out Newmont isn't going to lift us as that's going to take a lot of funds which need to be raised somehow. The only thing that might remotely lift us in the near future is the updated MRE, which Day should have demanded from Newcrest as we are JV partners and entitled to see it.

Hi Midas, I agree with your theory about covid etc, I've got long covid, and it's really depressing, you just don't know how you will feel from one day to the next, and it's impossible to plan anything at all. I've always been convinced my downfall came from the Pfizer booster shot, as that's when I noticed a big difference, within a fortnight I was bereft of any energy that I had prior to it. I don't know what your average is, you may well be still in positive territory, but many aren't, and the biggest issue over the summer has been the MMs playing on the fear of a placing coming from that 'leak' which dropped us from 8p to where we are now, and Day needs to quell that once and for all, he needs to say there will be no placing in the immediate future, even on or directly after cross listing otherwise the drop is just going to continue and that fear will remain unresolved for what could be months yet, even in to early next year. imo.

It's nothing of the sort, but when you start to have your doubts about something, you start looking at the people involved and who they are connected to, and so I was simply querying about Borrelli and connections. Matty brought it up by mentioning him having accummulated 32.5 million shares, but Borrelli is not a good name in some quarters. Anyhow, Day needs to get on his soap box and start doing some proper PR work to the mining media otherwise my fear is, as I said, that plode will get his way with a 5p entry, and he needs to get his but here, because the way things are going, we could be facing another lockdown before long, as the latest virus is reportedly spreading like wildfire and Australia will be the first to lockdown again no doubt! And no, I'm not being negative for an entry, I'm already down from initial purchases at 13.5p, not a pretty sight right now in my a/cs, and I feel for those who are trapped at the top end, they deserve better, as do all who are currently in a negative spot. my views.

I know who Borrelli is, connected to Kendrick Resources, but who are these Borrellis related to? You need to look up a few Borrelli's, it's not all positive and glowing!!! And I haven't got any shorts, I've never done a short in my life and wouldn't know how to, however, I've invested in more than enough carp aim companies who only seem to feather their directors pockets in salaries and pension funds, and the retail investor gets shafted for holding 'long and strong'!

There was one person in particular who was bigging up that ACF report at the time, and where is Mac now?!!!! And look at Carlitto, supposedly holding over 22 million shares here, says he sold out on Greatland in the 30p's, he's a trader, no way is Carlitto holding 22 million plus here, another big sheister!

Matty, who is Borelli? are you referring to Borrelli Capital Management? or the Borrelli alllegedly associated to Ponzi schemes? I'm beginning to get concerned here, we are dropping even further to the point where plode and his associates will probably get their buy in price of 5p, Day who seems to have no idea about the AIM market place, which demands constant news to keep it afloat, otherwise MMs just have a field day with the sp, and then huge financial instis being allowed to accummulate at ridiculously low prices, which isn't good for the ordinary retail investor who has kept this afloat for many years. The only thing that keeps me bouyant is the fact that Rio have JV'd with us, but other than that, there is nothing, and Newcrest it seems are going to drag their heels over the Newmont vote deal, and I have a feeling it could well collapse. Then we get the likes of Carlito appearing here who says he sold all his shares in the 30's, and over on eurasia he says he's accummulated over 22 million shares, which no one believes! The problem now is, unless we get a monumental rise from nowhere to say 50p or above within hours, there's going to be a mass exit, as people just want to get out, and don't believe anyone who says they are staying in mid to long term, that never happens, so it will be a mad scramble to exit, with those in at 6p out at 8p, those holding at 8p out at 10p and so on and unless you've averaged down considerably from the highs, you won't stand a chance of getting out. Day had better come up with something very good, because otherwise this is just going to be another sp disaster once a rise starts, and I know not all agree, but with things as they are, I am definitely not voting in favour of an asx listing. If Day can't manage to hold the sp as it is, never mind the fact that it shouldn't have fallen to the extent it has in recent times, then the cross listing should not occur, until he's got the house in proper order and the sp on a more advantageous footing. As I say, my fear now is we are going to slip to 5p and Day is doing absolutely nothing about it. That will be 3p down from the 8p at the beginning of the summer!
