Hi northfork, yep nothing on defence spending, frightening. They claim to have lower energy prices coming, but they put them up in the first place, and now with the war, it's unlikely that they will come down much in reality. It could be a very tough winter next year, as if we haven't had enough already! She said food prices coming down, that's a joke, they are twice as much compared to what they were when they came in to power. The sooner this lot are out, the better, they seriously frighten me. Hi CP, there was talk a few days ago that Iran was attempting to strike Dubai so as to get the UAE States to stop Trump with their influence on the region, but it hasn't worked, and the same are turning on Iran also. This won't go down well. My biggest worry is why did Trump say that Iran hasn't had "the big one" yet. I hope he is not considering a nuclear strike. He seems determined to end it as quickly as possible, but has said it could go on for another 4/5 weeks. This will not be good for the markets in general the longer it drags on. American analysts were saying preserve cash at the weekend. At least our assets here aren't under fire, and safe. But I wish all the innocents caught up in this awful war, were also safe.

Trump told all US citizens to evacuate UAE States last night, the list included Egypt, so that doesn't sound good at all. I sincerely hope that all of those who want to evacuate can get out. The war is predicted to last another 4/5 weeks. A lady on insta said yesterday she was evacuating but she couldn't get any money out of Dubai!
