It's not a guess, it's shown as blue, very clearly, not even a not known, when in fact it was a sell.

The blue buy of 4,112 at 8.03am is not a buy, it's a sell, as I sold a small handful to test start of sp action, so don't be fooled, that is definitely manipulation, as the trade is not posted correctly.

Fry the shorters JD, midday rns declaring early please.

He needs to declare his buys, and he can't be far off the 30% surely, his hand may be forced to declare early. I was convinced he'd try and wait it out until 1 March deadline, but at this rate, if this is subject to a sustained shorting attack, he might declare early (we live in hope). Who knows! Watching and waiting.

Another short disclosed, no wonder there was all the negtativity from some yesterday. Looks as though they will attempt to push it down further. I hope Dunkerton fries them. He could easily surpass that 30% today and declare his intentions. I'd say it's highly risky to be short right now. my musings

I'm hanging in there based on 1 March OrangeMoon, purely and simply because it's his birthday, and so the date will definitely be memorable for him this year! :)

I'm not bashing it, I'm still holding a considerable amount here, not pretty to see it slipping so much back towards mid to lower 20's may be, but it is what it is until the outcome is known. Nothing is guaranteed. Dunkerton was in talks but nothing has been said to suggest finance has been agreed, and this isn't deramping, it's just plain fact, so at the moment it could go either way, if he hasn't secured the finance and if he doesn't want to put the finance up himself, it will probably go CVA, if he has secured the finance and he wants to try and turn it around, then its all systems go to see what he offers, simple as that. There is also no guarantee of other bidders, the press speculated that, but there is nothing concrete about that and nothing more has been said about Authentic Brands etc.

HI OrangeMoon, I'll be buying more if it hits the 20's! Holding tight. It's 50/50 that's for sure, buy out or flop, but can't phone a friend! :)

If an offer was forthcoming, you would normally expect the share price to rise in anticipation. Someone else also stated this today. The share price fell! It is the 13th after all!

We're in a "bid situation" so already aware that Dunkerton may or may not offer as already notified. We already know Dunkerton is the possible "offeror" IF he intends to make an offer, which isn't yet known.

Nothing to see here as I see it.

Total Voting Rights

In accordance with Rule 5.6.1 of the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, the Company confirms that its total issued share capital as at 31 January 2024 consisted of 99,072,093 ordinary shares of 5p each, none of which were held in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company as at 31 January 2024 was 99,072,093.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules."

During my convos tonight, I was speaking to a friend involved in futures, he says that the markets have definitely been spooked by news today of The Body Shop administration. It's tough out there at the moment for a lot of retailers.

I've been on whatsapp for a few hours thanking friends for their birthday wishes and flowers.

It's not a cash offer.

There was a notice last week from recollection stating the same thing about the number of shares in issue and I said at the time, it's just housekeeping, but could be indicative of what is to come but doesn't mean that it is guaranteed.

They have to issue them to keep housekeeping straight because the company is in a "bid situation".

That's how I understand it.

There could be an offer tomorrow, who knows, but I don't think it's definitely a sign of one being forthcoming.

We all know there's shenanigans/manipulation in the markets.

Someone has probably just accummulated loads of shares on the cheap.

It happens.

The problem is there is likely a wait here until 1 March and in between time this will be played.

In the whole scheme of things, be thankful, we're not being shot at or driven out of our homes with nothing.
