I'm trying to work out if JT might have invested, and am interested in the hedgie involvement announced this morning. JT's wife is a 'brand ambassador' of sorts for JD's wife business, and has been for some time. I have a sneaky feeling JT might be involved here somewhere and someone is buying for him. my musings!

If he now goes against what he said then, then I think his reputation would be totally shot to pieces and left in tatters. He clearly said then in September last year, that he would not go down the CVA route. "I have done the decent and honest thing here" he states.

ATrades what I've posted is a positive, Dunkerton said in September in that article that effectively, he would not enter in to a CVA.

"Criticising retail peers that opted to enter company voluntary arrangements in recent years, allowing them to shed underperforming stores, he added: “Pick a retailer out there that’s suddenly producing great profits. How did they achieve it? It is very easy to go out and CVA a company but I have done the decent and honest thing here. It feels like we are one of the only companies that hasn’t done a CVA.”

There's a group of traders working this share right now and it will no doubt continue until close to 1 March deadline. They started yesterday by dropping all those small sells in short succession to get the sp down as much as possible.

They then came on here last night and totally disrupted the forum, stating an offer was close and all the rest of that rubbish, obviously in the hope of getting the sp up this morning.

It's succeded in part, but not in the way that they were hoping today.

Now no doubt they will start the same process all over again and so it will go on, the problem is not getting caught up in their games.

Best to switch off and just watch for the RNS's and see if there are any more from Dunkerton himself. If not, draw your own conclusions as to what you think might happen, don't listen to the ramping/deramping rent a mob who are now here.

They all disappeared this morning but are slowly creeping back this afternoon.

No they haven't, I'm just sitting waiting, but what I don't like is when people post blatant misinformation.

Just sit and wait people, without putting out there an offer is on it's way, the price action doesn't suggest this, and the shorts have increased, there could be another fortnight of all of this yet, so just decide your own strategy, and stop filling the forum with offer coming and so on. Just wait if you are in and staying in.
