"DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) — Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Sunday announced measures taken by her administration aimed at tapping the mining sector to its full potential.

She said the government through the Geological Survey of Tanzania has only managed to conduct only 16 percent of the geological survey in the country, a situation the president described as unacceptable.

Closing the two-week 7th Geita Mining and Technology Exhibition, President Hassan said the government planned to acquire state-of-the-art equipment that will accelerate geological surveys that will help identify areas rich with mineral reserves.

“The government has set aside enough budget that will strengthen geological surveys, including the acquisition of special aircraft for aerial surveys,” said the head of state.

President Hassan said the mining sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023 was 7.2 percent, adding that the target was to reach 10 percent by 2025.

The 7th Geita Mining and Technology Exhibition, attended by local and international mining stakeholders, is a vital platform designed to enhance the performance of the mining sector in Tanzania."

Rubbish, they've had to submit a feasibility study, the clue is in the word feasibility! You won't get a mining licence unless you can prove there are the resources there to extract and that you have the know how and wherewith all to do it and the finance to back it up.

They hung on to a few shares from the previous shenanigans, then convinced some that they should sell during the past 2 weeks, they've topped up to a low average again, keep some cash aside, and then buy a few to create a false market to make you think a rise is justified, and meanwhile, they will be selling again around 3.30pm. You should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you, who are traders, Matt007, who is well known as a trader and a bluffer, and the rest of you.

Can anyone read what the dailynews_tz on insta says as top headlines and it shows newspaper page with 'TZ announces oil, gas licensing rounds' by Daily News Reporter? I can't read it.

You are right about the PR though, the company could continue to keep the twitter and insta feeds alive for the sake of existing shareholders, who have to repeatedly suffer these sustained attacks from the shorters and traders.

Thechocolate bomb, I think you're wrong, the evidence from the articles I have linked over the past few months would seem to suggest that the placing shares were probably awarded to the TG, that's my guess. Whilst some might call it corruption, myself included initially, in essence, it's the same as everything else in this world, if you want something badly enough, you pay the price for it. If I want that special bag, knowing I'm paying over the odds, but if I want it, I'll pay the price for it, hoping it will reap me a better return in the long run if I sell. It's just plain old bartering, from the middle ages, in disguise, nothing has changed in this world, and never will whilst mankind exists! my views.

Ps I've got more credibility than you, I stated I've sold 3 million, it's there for all to see there is a sell of 3 million, I'm still holding 8 million, whilst you hold sod all, so I think my credibility is evidenced, yours isn't. Filtered and Ignored.

Just sold 3 million, too top heavy again with 11 million shares, so down to 8 million, and spotted something else as a safety net for the 3 million sold. Still holding the 8 mill so don't have a go at me.

I was going but just saw this from Happy Dazes and had to responde, Happy Dazes, who says they need E100 million? the criteria for the ML says investment FROM 100,000 to 100,000,000 which can be in tanzanian shillings! Get your facts right. They don't need 100 million or anywhere near that amount.

From me folks for today, take advantage and do other things that have got left undone, because once that ML lands, we'll all be glued to our screens! :)
