Static sp or a small drop for my own benefit, recommendations and targets may flood in from various entities and indeed may sway the odd P.I or ten but behind the scenes workings may subdue smaller investment for a short time. I have heard that SLV investors on the ASX may possibly be tipping out in order to get a better deal on other exchange(s). I was going to wait until Friday but that might be a little late, or maybe it won't! :-) Those who bought in last time in the 50 - 55p bracket will testify that SLV generally gained between 1 and 5% per day for a reasonable amount of time, the situation is slightly different now but when SLV does start to move I personally would expect a continued rise to target. It will be interesting to get an update on remaining shares in issue but I would wager that the current figure will reduce in the next two weeks or so. In a 'tongue in cheek' manor I would advise people to buy soon because when Tom48 buys in using the proceeds of 'lending' out his Bus Pass the s.p will rocket for sure!!! (evening Tom :-)) regards Dave
If this RNS releases the brakes then my plan may cost me a little more! regards Dave
I didn't actually ever buy FTE as other fish with better futures needed frying. I have to wait until Wednesday for my top up here but if I am really fortunate I would like some 3 - 5% less than the current price. I could of course push the envelope and wait until Friday in the hope I could do a little better. regards Dave
You could always pimp your bus pass for a few days mate!! :-) regards Dave
Please stop underpinning this share, my Giro comes on Wednesday which will be used to add to my SLV holdings and IF bargain hunters don't thwart my evil plan I am hoping for 65p or less!! :-) regards Dave
Morning Dear! Can't believe the rush on SLV, what a bun fight LMAO!!! I am still hoping for a little more relief until my Giro on Wednesday. regards Finished my weekend in the pub and feeling a little ropey!
I have told FJP on several occasions to turn the music down after midnight but the problem is that he is so proud of his 'Boyed - up' Fiat Cinquecento that he wants to show it off!!! Maybe ConRoast and coffee could make more money! regards Dave
I too was up at 05:21 but that was mainly due to a headache and a dusty mouth post quaffage! I am personally hoping that due to JLP's untapped resources, it's new BRR liabilities and lack of funds that they will get snapped up. Why would a company with such underground resources and lack of funding take on BRR if ConRoast can be legally replicated? Perhaps to present an attractive package to any possible purchaser who would rather use BRR's technology sooner rather than wait for replication. Taking on BRR for any other reason considering JLP's inability (due to lack of cash) to extract proven resources seems pontless in my opinion. God, my hangover is painfull! :-( regards Dave
Having s**t the bed I awakened early and spent some time reading up on SLV and it's possible future(s). Having made and lost money on short term ventures I realised that my portfolio was balanced in favour of short term plays, some with a high risk label on them, some less so. After a lengthy chat with myself I have elected to pursue SLV as an 12 month upwards investment, resisting the 'spikes' that may occur in favour of the greater prize which in the fulness of time will (having read a lot of information) give a very high yield. On that note I am off to work to pay for my SLV top up next week, if I am lucky and the support is kind to me 65p failing that it's sub 70p. Fjp73, I trust you had a good evening and hope that you have the monster hangover from hell! :-) regards Dave
Evening mate, not sure we will see 50's here low 60's possibly but if I see 65p I will be adding. Norby won't let me in his basement anymore after the mess I made last time! LMAO regards Dave
Literally just in from work (some of us have to! :-)) I am personally keeping a big bag of faith for SLV, the sp is heading closer to my average but if it can gently fall away until next Thursday when my next Giro is due I will be even happier as it will provide me with a 'future profit maximising opportunity'. Long may my favourite long prosper. regards Dave p.s His Grace The Duke of Marlborough sends his regards (I have spent the last 3 hours at his pad). He told me SLV would do well in the long, his nickname on LSE ends in "T21" if it's any help! LMFAO
Mrs Dave is out tonight leaving me to plough through the Ruuki accounts pdf, at least to weigh up ONE of the possible outcomes to this twisty turny chapter. The other options are not yet fully known but I personally like the prospect of alternative story endings, it sometimes makes for a more profitable outcome. :-) regards Lord Spunk Chalfont St Giles
I'm sitting tight, no hoop twitching here and for two main reasons 1) As Fjp mentioned - good company with loads of potential (including being bought! :-) and 2) I have a low average and therefore will not be crying into my lederhosen if the sp does take a dip. Having only been in from work for 2 hours it's time to down some meths to aid restful sleep. regards Pete Based-compost Oxfordshire
Happy to ride out the ups and downs until the final "deal or no deal" unfolds. To put it another way if the current deal isn't concluded I will empty my piggy bank to buy on any subsequent retrace. This should put me in good stead for any 'more encouraging' developments that might follow. regards Ross Tapidly :-)
£1.50 would help to pay my bill but Mrs Dave's would require an offer of £2.50 minimum! :-) regards Dave
Personally my holiday has worn me out!! A steady rise would be ideal but an RNS confirming takeover of £1.50 plus would also help me to pay off my alcohol bill! :-) regards Dave
SLV looking nearly nearly as good as my tan!! :-) Morning all regards Dave
Each to their own. AST are cash generative with fingers in many pies, it is the speculative nature and the potential of AST that appeals to me. Many companies out there are hoping to hit the 'big one' be it oil or gas but AST have diversity with proven (and profitable) interests in Hungary. I don't care much for conspiracies. Regarding Gazzata, whether they knew the final result or not does not bother me, what will be will be etc. SS funding is neither here nor there, all deals are subject to due diligence etc and should never be taken as done deals, if AST have a find then there won't be a shortage of offers/deals. I know the risks and I know the upsides. I have also been made aware of the geology of AST's operational regions. I am comfortable in my shoes and shall remain so unless every project runs dry and the company no longer generate cash. This is my take on the situation, others are wlcome to differ. regards Dave
Thanks for the Birthday greetings! Uriney I will be back in on EML full stop (each to their own of course) PWLs - I have imbibed a few and the sensible spead might be SLV/BRR but my preference is SLV. regards Dave
Traditionally EML has retraced after getting close to the 6p mark (if my old memory serves me correctly). My reasons for investing in EML remain but I had to free up some extra funds to top up on AST, an opportunity too good to be missed! :-) regards Dave
