I've asked HL what's happening as they originally told me I needed to move my shares out of my ISA. But the people I've had contact with seem to have no clue as to whats' going on. So at the moment how would they pay dividends.
The Website still calls itself OCTAGONALPLC , and still has reference to AIM etc etc, and there's still no new on how shares can be traded, all in all begins to feel very shady.
This is beginning to feel like Football Index
It's quiet but these things often are long winded
its appeared now and I've hit the yes please button
I hold my shares via HL in an ISA account how do I subscribe ?
just dropped off the 23p
But keep the faith, we are on an upward trajectory
to be honest i n the English fens and the Netherlands use of windpower to drain land has been common for over 300 years.
Actually if you think back before oil was commonly used
Wind powered the Mills to mill grain and drain land, other mills were water powered so basically we are going back in time.
I'm wondering when someone will catch back onto the concept that instead of using expensive batteries etc to store energy. we use excess energy generated by solar to lift water up a hill to a reservoir, then when we need power it is released and powers turbines to generate electricity.
to me that is clean, cheap and very green
just over 2% isn't too shabby,
and if we get back to specials and interim inline with this we are looking at over 10% this year.
I'm becoming a glass half full person !
@hitman1a
are we going to do this every Friday increasing the price by 5p every time
What Bugs me with this is We are down 3.7% today, meanwhile Chariot which I see as a far less well run and profitable in the long term company is up 10%.
for comparison over 3 months Chariot up 10% over a year its 200%
Enquest over 3 months up 80%, 1 year up 3%
Don't really mind as long as the BOD don't stitch us up like Octagonal did to their shareholders, by using AIM for funding etc, then taking the company private
Been to the website still says its am AIM company ! and has links to AIM rules etc, one would almost think it was looking to lure suckers in.
Guess you guys are all keeping your powder dry with regard to predictions.
So I'll guess Profits back to 2016 levels
a small dividend of 2-3P a share
Share price will hit £2.50 by end of june
Everyone keeping their powder dry, I guess the profits will be back to 2016 levels, I think a small dividend may appear ( 2-3 pence a share )
I also thinh the share price may start to fly soon I think £
Personally I don't think the bug players have noticed us yet, we are under the radar, Seriously I believe once the share price starts to seriously rise it will take off.
I think a lot of people know what happened with Sirius and are wary of non proven mining stocks.
@ohmni
What is a snow angle ?
I know what a snow angel is
MY HL account has nothing either
@HBomb5
Mine were moved by HL to a standard account rather than my ISA , and HL say they are worth £0.00
OK I spoke to someone I know in the business, My house has solid walls and he says a heat pump will be ineffective due to the walls.
I would need radiators 3 times the size of my current ones.
Gas costs me 2.8P per KWH
electricity averages 14P ( Im not average so used an Average)
His estimate of my winter performance is 4:1 so I'd get 4KW of heat back for 1 KW of electricity so an effective cost of 3.5p per KW . Now I could live with that, given the summer performance would be better.
However a cost of about £30K to install is the killer. for a great many here in the Welsh Valleys this represents probably 18 months household income.
The Pump should last 25 years , the underground part 100 years, It was suggested I went Ground source rather than air source as average winter temperatures here are quite low reducing the efficiency of air source pumps.
FFS will you stop trying to pump the price
SQUIF,
I agree entirely, I am on octopus Agile for electricity, we had a few days in January when octopus were prepared to pay over £1 per KWH for electricity exported to the grid at the peak time ( 4-7PM). The principal reasons being that it was horrible dark days, and little wind so renewables producing little.
