lol love this bit
(John William Gunn terminated.)
I think a lot of small shareholders would agree
With all these offers I always find it takes the amount to cover the full allocation then returns what is unused, so Chickens and eggs springs to mind
I got excited when my HL account showed it up by 9999.99%
I thought I was rich, like a big lottery win.
was getting ready to sell out and buy the house and car of my dreams
who cares as long as it stays up and keeps on rising like a nice sponge. I nice dividend would be icing on the top. but the fruit cakes will try and down play, our prospects.
More interesting that a new set of Auditors found "no issues" and were able to sign books off within a month of the others resigning.
Wow, I've seen some cowboy companies but never seen such a scathing comment from Auditors.
As they are professional group, I have to accept the Auditors would not tell untruths especially on the record like this.
Makes you wonder why the previous books were approved, surely if the format etc is compliant one year it will be the next unless key members of staff are no longer employed.
Either way for us small investors 18 months since the shares were suspended we are still shafted as still no mechanism to get rid of these.
Mentally my investment was in the "dodgy" box, now it's definitely in the "write off" box

$17 Million payout by ENQ is not good news. ( £12.6 million )
and taken from the article :-
Data provided by EnQuest in its latest updates claims that the company’s production in Malaysia totaled 5,078 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the previous year until October 31. That number is down almost a third from the same period in 2020.
The firm’s UK production is almost 8 times higher than in Malaysia but is also down by around 14,000 barrels per day. Production in both countries was affected by unplanned issues such as the shutdown of the Kraken field in the UK and the supplier delay in Malaysia.
LOL, given what most of the small shareholders think of the BOD it is ironic that the auditors are based in ****fosters
http://octagonalplc.com/board-of-directors/
no-one obviously looked at it after putting the pictures up People cut in half etc, really an example of P155 poor design and implementation
interesting that on here http://octagonalplc.com/investments/ they claim GIS is a qualified intermediary in the United States, isn't that what the whole court case is about
IMHO the news in the additional prospectus will push ENQ to35p in next few weeks
NO This purely covers the claims that GIS was operating Illegally in the US by providing share broking etc services without a license.
The issue of taking the company back private would have to be dealt with by a UK court
NO
so you think I should sit on my holding some of which was bought at 38p in January 2020
Why even seek shareholder permission. They don't care about us !
Gunn owns >50% of the shares so he gets whatever he wants
more likely into the pockets of Gunn et al
Wish the small shareholders had been allowed in on this
you pay 70P and get £1 back in 3 years plus 5P success bonus that's a 50% ROI over 3 years.
A lot of us would be interested in that.
for the experts any chance of this paying a dividend
Part of the issue is that HL etc apply for shares in bulk then distribute them to individuals once they get them, so For example the recent Keir issue If I'd applied as an individual I would have received about 60% of what I asked for because some shareholders on HL decided not to apply I received all I applied for.
I this instance though we shouldn't be seeing any scaling back.
Unfortunately I like many other small shareholders have got burnt on this with the shares trading 7-8% below what we paid for them
could even be some who opted against taking the basic
I got all I asked for
