Got all the excess I asked for.
All appeared in HL now
Usually take some time to appear on HL
My Understanding is they will have applied for X Guaranteed shares and Y extras, until they get confirmation from Keir as to how many they got they can't start the process of allocating them to individuals. and the process may be more complicated than people think .
Lets say 2 people have applied for 200 extra each but the maths works out that for every 400 applied for shareholders get 295 How do HL decide who gets 148 and who gets 147 ?
Bollards, I could show you several companies I've worked for with far less professional management

I think its a corporate responsibility thing. the business is responsible for the staff / directors actions.
I believe Mr Gunn is also personally charged
@jim800 HL have taken all the money to buy what I asked for, what goes out is NOT an indication, as with all these things you need to be able to pay for the max but may get much less.
Glad you think 3% is tight for me it is tighter than normal but is still wide compared to most of my other holdings
25% a day until the end of the week would be great
What a load of Bovine excrement.
if a company is worth £10 million then I'd Happily buy for £9.5 Million
If the same company has £20 million in the bank that it has borrowed, I'd not want to buy for £9 Million as I'd have the Banks etc to pay back.
Right now Chariot is valued at £20 Million with approx 360 Million Shares ( dividing market cap by price)
It will issue approximately 212 million new shares at 5.5P raising at most £11million after expenses
So the company will be worth £31Million but divided by the number of shares it's worth 5.4p per share
Compare what happened with Restaurant Group share price after fund raise announcement with Chariot, one goes up one goes down both offers were at a discount to the share price at the time
why would choose to buy via the placing when I can hold my cash and potentially buy immediately after the shares are issued at a lower price.
It feels odd 2 other companies I am invested in have done similar placements ( in the last couple of months, both at a discount to the share price when announced ) and in both cases the share price has gone up after the announcement but Chariot drops.
Seems very quiet, with no news coming from or leaked from either side, although I guess this is normal for these things.
The other reason to post this is just to keep this area from dying of inactivity
I'm already seeing mass gatherings taking place locally, and huge outdoor parties etc with no social distancing or masks etc.
One party in Merthyr Tydfil lead to 31 infections in a single street, if this was repeated with those 31 attending other parties or going into offices etc.
There is also the issue of new variants springing up and becoming prevalent
Given some funds are FTSE250 trackers they own a tranche of every share in the FTSE 250, therefore they will be looking to buy, More buyers = Higher stock price. I know some private investors also wont touch the small cap, so that will be another driver in the right direction
What I'm seeing on the news, hearing locally, and t'interweb, i'm concerned we will be back in lockdown within 2 months.
People seem to thin this is all over, and they can go back to normal, people mostly teens and millennials gathering in big groups, hugging etc and drinking to excess which further throws behaving sensibly out of the window.
number of shares or amount in a currency if so which
Not as bad as the French who as one point banned it's use in over 65's, and is now saying will only use it in the over 55's
99% in favour and 86% took up the offer, hoping the price doesn't fall too much when the new shares admitted tomorrow
@examiner55 I've asked the same question the inference from the reply I received is that hey regard wagamama as more upmarket than the others in the chain, so don't want to do discounts.
I tend to use my Vouchers in the airport concessions, as it brings prices down to near normal, or what I regard as reasonable
One thing that irks me is the constant whining that my Car is green it produces no emissions from EV owners.
Apart from the emissions from the production of the vehicle, the emissions when the electricity is produced that powers it etc.
Another thing that bugs me is the introduction of 20MPH speed limits in cities to reduce pollution, err may car is happy at 1000 RPM in 4thy gear at 30 mph, drop down to 20MPH I have to drop down a gear and higher revs so more pollution not less
