No any shareholder that opts in gets no Q3 dividend on any of their shares and they sell a percentage of that shareholders shares at 105% of the market average, and give them that cash instead. the percentage sold is equivalent to the dividend value on the whole
Website still refers to AIM rules
Website still lists PKF LittleJohn as Auditors
LOL see https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/06214926/filing-history 22 Feb 22
still no sign of the trading mechanism promised
Forgot to add that of course the extra shares will all share in future dividends so keeping the dividend down
Just making sure we plebs who are stuck with thousands of shares we can't sell have 0 influence on the company.
pretty sure those new shares alone outnumber ours, and of course it keeps the value down.
Avast was always on the up and nice Dividends
the Gen Digital dividend is about 20% of the AVAST one, and the stock about 20% lower than when it was taken over.
Still the experts knew best and the shareholders are much better off in the merged company ( Sarcasm )
I would suggest if it is settled, it will be for between 10&20% so $2.88 - $5.66 or £2.30 - £4.6.
I honestly believe anyone thinking Burford will see the full £23 is deluded.
If it rises again on Monday, i will get out as I see this taking years to resolve
For the pumpers and dumpers yes. for the poor suckers who fell for the BS and bought at 14.5-15P not such a good day
For those of us who went in for long term in my case at 8P in 2019, the rise is welcome but 12p still represents 1/3 of peak price.
Yes I was sensible and sold enough to be in profit but what I have now are worth a lot less than before, but I too am intrigued by the sudden and pretty massive uptick, feels to me like someone in the know is dealing. But of course that would be illegal
Mine are showing at 14.0P ie the offer price not the current price.
IIRC HL do tend to take all the money then return what isn't spent
just me and you
OK I goofed I'm the wrong way round OCT own GIS which is the major trading subsidiary.
Still no sign of accounts being filed
our holding are in Octagonal not GIS, the profit or loss or the group is irrelevant it's the profit of the company that matters
any sign of anyone getting a dividend or indeed any clue as to how much it might be
No sign of either for me yet.
End of another week AVST up 4P on the week, Norton down 47p the Offer gets to look worse and worse
@cr888 I think October or November
Message from HL saying all previous elections cancelled
When the offer was made option 1 was 2% market value option 2 was 7% below ( But I anticipated a 10% rise in NLOK )
Currently option 1 is 1% above market value option 2 is 14% below
As always DYOR
see section 44 of this last couple of lines
just an odd post to keep this alive
Web site is a farce still refers to AIM rules etc no Accounts available
NOW the CMA has in principle given approval the offers are both looking poor the mainly shares 1 is 1/7 less than the open market value of the shares. The mostly cash offer is about 0.5% above the share price
When It was announced I looked and the difference between the 2 was about £25 per 100 shares, now it's nearer £125.
I am getting tempted to change which way I want to go to the higher cash offer
