Inclusion criteria

3. Histological or cytological confirmation of locally advanced (unresectable) and/or metastatic pancreatic, CRC, NSCLC, SCCHN, ovarian, breast, soft tissue sarcoma and bladder cancer, who have either relapsed or progressed on SoC treatment or are intolerant or nonamenable to SoC treatment.

As a lay man that sounds to me that they are well down the route of treatment

But as exclusions there is:
Received a prior total cumulative dose of >350mg

Eh? That makes no sense vertizeasun the patients on the trial are in the very late stages of thier treatment.
These aren't random patients with undetected tumours??

They are very sick end of life patients icecool so they would almost certainly have gone through a standard chemo regime.

It's a cycle of complete and utter boredom

It's fairly obviously going to be very different to free dox. The latest cohort is receiving an equivalent dox dose of 134mg the current maximum current cumulative dose of dox is 450mg so 4 doses of ava6k at 200mg would exceed it.

So obviously something is going right or the safety board would be signing a death warrant for the latest cohort.

Excellent data opens up the pipeline of prodrugs.

We can already surmise that it's working, won't be long to find out how well.

If the AVA6000 Phase Ia study shows that the pre|CISION™ chemistry is effective in reducing systemic toxicity of doxorubicin in humans, then it can be applied to a wide range of other established chemotherapies to potentially improve their safety and efficacy.
