Agree with that sentiment jive turkey but I also think it is a lot to do with the physcology of an investor (sound a bit like wynbore now)
Wondering and being 'concerned' that the larger investment companies who have placed shorts know something that the PI's don't. Clearly in this case they don't they were gambling on a distressed raise and all they got was a death spiral.
But with the volume of the shorts that are in place for these firms is the equivalent of a pi gambling 10k on a share price drop, so not a big deal for them.

We won't know, until we know, but AS has been pretty vocal about him being confident that we will have biopsies.
That is a secondary objective in this phase anyway but obviously great to have.

Primary objectives:
-Evaluating safety and tolerability
-determine MTD and/or recommended phase 2 dose

Secondary objectives:
- characterise the pharmacokinetics in plasma, urine and tumour of AVA6000, of the pre|CISION leaving group, and of active metabolites (Doxorubicin and doxorubicinol) when given as monotherapy, after a single dose and after multiple dosing

- to evaluate the initial anti-tumour activity

You'd think after this long 450 days odd then at least one of those secondary objectives will be achievable

To be fair on AIM your assumption would be generally correct in the day of the RNS stating a placing is taking place the SP would be hammered normally to around the level of the placing, but normally lower.

In this case the market sees this move and a good thing so that didn't happen.
