He has concluded that the most likely outcome mid to long term looks grim, given the competion that’s likely to emerge after about 3-years.

It’s interesting that it was struggling to go past the £8 mark at the last close. Wonder why that was? I was expecting to see a nice steady rise continuing for the next few weeks at least, considering there was a recent £1billion buy back.

Also I read the CEO’s pay package has been cut by £10million, should he not have been rewarded instead for seeing the share price take a massive leap under his watch ?

Seems if you are in for the next 3-years you have nothing much to worry about, Just keep an eye on any wild fluctauions and exit if you feel uncomfortable. Beyond that who knows.

Calm down… Just because Apple and Google have in the past been buying back own shares doesn't necessarily mean that the Rolls-Royce are doing it for the Same, similar reasons. Those two are solid companies, further more are seen as the backbone of the US economy.

Unfortunately, the Rolls-Royce is not in the same league, has little impact on the UK economy.

Just pointing out that one needs to be careful and take into account counter analysis before deciding to plunge in. Of course you are free to choose where you invest.

Recent £1billion spend on share buy back - do you think it was an attempt to un-justifiably boost its own share price ?

A solid company doesn’t need to do that.

I read one of the Analysts say that on current details available the share price is worth no more then £2.40 !?

Someone seems to buying 1, 3 and 4 share at 10p- 12p above the current price.

Seems this recent bubble has had an its current run, gone up from £6 to 8 in a quick time, no bad.

Seems uncle Trump has put paid to it, no impending wars.

Seems this stock has Risen too fast, correction is coming ?

Profit taking would be an obstacle, but seems long term future looks bright.

Wish we had a “Google” like stock in the UK.

Saw a 7m buy go thru today, Probably influenced by the Increased government defence spending announced earlier in the morning by Kier Starmer.
