George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
For Britbox to succeed financially,ITV and BBC will have to stop selling old shows to Gold and Dave, or else they are In competition with themselves.
I wonder if the break even point for Britbox includes the loss of income from UKTV for these channels?
..... or if you are a half full type of person, now is a wonderful time to buy Rockhopper
The £ against the $ is at a two year low.
Unless we leave on a no deal Brexit, when it is sure to crash even lowe. Conversely, were Brexit to be actually sorted, the £ will shoot up. Surely now would be the perfect time for an American buyer.
If the funding to develop Britbox is only £65m, it is not going to be a game changer
With the CFO off, I wonder if Lakestreet did any due diligence?
The dividend price has been rising steadily, the last dividend was €0.72, but with two profit warnings this is likely to be under pressure this year.
Boeing cannot afford NOT to give compensation of some sort to airlines, be it outright cash, discounts for further purchases, or better credit deals. It would be playing into the hands of Airbus if they don't.
Maybe Trump will impose some of his famous tariffs on Europe in an attempt to protect Boeing. I wonder how much Boeing contributed to his election coffers?
Compensation cannot be priced in to TUI's share price, so this could be a big upturn in the future.

You have to assume that Lakestreet undertook due diligence before investing c£2-3m in Carlo. Why else would they invest, there is no financial benefit to them of Carclo going into administration.
Surely there would be more activity in the share if the outlook was being issued this week. MM would be trying to make money at our expense
.... but mid/long term this is very good news and there is big profit in this share
Worry the MM have made their profit from low of 780 and this will finish flat.
I think (hope) it will be good news. I have been day trading the share over the last couple of weeks and increased my holding. I agree with thedoghouser the stink of MM's is on this share
However, goodness knows what we will get. Great half yearly figures followed by a large drop!
With the way this is falling, it will be interesting to see what the half year results say on Wednesday
.....that this share fallls dramatically first thing in the morning and then normally recovers to its starting level by the end of the day?
Boeing paid airlines compensation in the past when the dream liner was grounded.

They cannot afford to lose the goodwill of airlines, as they will simply fly to Airbus.
Halfpenny
Where Brexit is concerned, you are right..........it has caused a complete sense of humour failure throughout the country..
BUT on a happier note, we haven't got a leader called The Donald......every cloud has a silver lining
If Boeing don't take ownership of these costs, they won't sell many more planes in the future.
As a PR exercise if nothing else they will have to pay these costs.
Therefore this RNS is a great buying opportunity, one which I accepted
It's not the sort of share that goes up. It will give special dividends out for the big profits it makes
with the exchange rate as it is, an American company could get a large discount by buying a UK company now. If the pound grows stronger (or the dollar weaker), they would pay a premium.
With Brexit coming to a conclusions and Trump economics, I think the window of opportunity is fast closing for this discount.
