I added some at 467 and just added some at 462. Biggest holding in my portfolio now.

It's a ridiculous way of thinking. As you add more routes, they're not going to be as profitable. Because you go for the most profitable first, and as you grow, you target the less profitable.

Like I'm sure the Apple Stores outside London make less profit than the Regent St one, but it's still profit.

Still a fairly small stake but yield/PE is nice.

Also worth remembering that Trump lives a bit in his own bubble.

I cashed in for a small profit. It's the sort of percentage that suggests a takeover rumour. I can't see anything else driving it.

Not saying Wizz isn't good for the long term, but I have a feeling it's going to slide back.

I know it might be a buy opportunity but I don't have the stomach for too much money in a rollercoaster. But I'm going to hold. The fundamentals like RASK and traffic growth are still good.

So does that mean it should have no real impact on profits that it takes a little longer, as the extra costs are covered?

I'm concerned why we're now hearing an 18 month problem is 4-5 now. Like, I thought there was a schedule for this. Is someone not tracking that schedule at Wizz? Why wasn't this mentioned in the past quarterly?

Clearly they must be solving the problem, so the impact is lessening, but it would be good to get a rough idea of the impact.

The good news is it seems to have not had much effect on the share price, but tempted to sell out in case it hits the next quarterly results announcements and people start dumping.

1. Someone mentioned here a few days ago about weaker Winter sales, but the call seemed to be suggesting this was growing good.

3. Most of the "analysts" have less understanding of this business than some of the people on this call. Also, obsessed with trivial political issues, most of which make little difference to the business, to show how smart they are (Trump/geopolitics)

Overall, I retain the confidence I did after the last call. It's not going to get fixed overnight. There are risks. But I'm buying back in.

Share price is already up to 1387. I've made about 8% return in the last two days selling on the Trump, buying after the sell-off this morning.

It looks about what I expected. Glad I cashed out after the post-Trump boost (which seemed excessive). I'll give it a week and see where we are. I still generally like the business.

This is a little proxy war going on.

The problem is people who take the news and media commentary seriously rather than viewing it as entertainment. The news is about producing something entertaining, dramatic, presented by people who fake a sense of authority and the first priority is not to be boring. If you read the likes of Chatham House, or the Royal United Services Institute, you grasp what is really going on in Israel and it's best described as a pro-Iran PR exercise. "Iran is stepping up their plans to go to war". Why? What does Iran gain from a war with Israel? Does Israel have oil? Particularly valuable agricultural land? Wars in the Middle East that have been big like Iran/Iraq or Iraq/Kuwait or the ISIS situation are about getting oilfields. Iran would have half a million dead and even if they won, would achieve nothing.

The best use of the news for an investor is to spot panics by retail shareholders, and to get in and buy some cheap. Use hard numbers, statistics.

Did anyone see they are having a 20% sale until March? This seems like a large discount for a prolonged period. Any opinions about the effects of this on profitability?

I guess that utilisation doesn't tell you a lot about income. Personally it's still reassuring. Everything running smoothly.
