Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) has closed its ASX bookbuild, securing buyers for some A$490.4 million worth of shares.

It was a combination of new (primary placing) and existing (secondary placing) shares.

In terms of the cash injection, Greatland received commitments for A$50 million, selling new shares priced at A$6.60 each. At the same time, a Newmont owned vehicle sold 66.72mln existing Greatland shares for a total of $440.4 million.

The offer was priced at the top end of the indicated range.

Greatland chief executive described the investor demand as "exceptional”.

The share price when trading starts next week on AIM (23rd June) & ASX (24th June) will be the post 20-1 consolidation price, in Australian Dollars (converted to GBP for AIM), after normal trading on AIM this week.

Great news! Even with a less than 10% discount, investors have "piled in", according to the Australian financial media.

Yup, I believe that the plan at Ernest Giles is still for a regional geophysics survey across the project, as well as a targeted IP survey and 6,000m of drilling at the Meadows prospect. That was what was indicated in the last company report. It follows on from the two diamond core holes drilled in early 2024 at Meadows, under the WA Government Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) co-funded drilling program. That was the first exploration at EG for around 5 years.

IF THE DETAILS ARE CORRECT, if it's oversubscribed at the midpoint, with around a 10% discount, which would be quite normal, then, IMHO, it's extremely positive going forwards, and I'd hope for good buying ahead on AIM by those not able to fill their orders, or buy at all, and also when trading starts on the ASX.

....and the Havieron Feasibility Study due for completion in the December 2025 quarter, which, apart from everything else, will assess the Havieron mining rate expansion from 2.8Mtpa to 4.0 - 4.5Mtpa!

Yes, I can see that now, thanks. But, then again, it's pretty easy to trade live on the ASX through several UK platforms, including ii, which I use. The ASX is also recognised by HMRC for ISA's & SIPP's.

IMHO, Motley Fool contributors are complete & utter, ill-researched, clowns, who, through their same old, same old views, have missed out on huge gains.

@ Boldicus I just looked back at your posts on here over the past couple of months, and you appear to be very aware, maybe even more than most, about what's happening at Greatland Gold/Greatland Resources, so I have to question why you now state, a 'dual listing', when most know that it's a cross-listing, and why you appear to believe that "we cannot purchase on AIM", which we patently can, and which has been obvious for many months now.

It's very difficult to judge, but, on current form over the past week or so, we're maybe looking at 20p+ next week, if it continues in the same vein.

Do you actually want to have shares in GGP, or not?!

Unfortunately, IMHO, one of the biggest issues with some investors, usually PI's, is umming & ahing for long periods. Either you do, even basic research, and decide, or you wait. You have absolutely no idea if you'll get any shares under the UK offer, and at what price. Basically, you pays your money and you takes your choice.

Any umming & ahing since the prospectus was posted will have seen you missing a very large rise. It's as simple as that.

Profits will come in the next Report, as normal. The revenue, and cash position was as follows for Q1 2025:

90,172oz of gold and 3,511t of copper at an all-in-sustaining-cost of A$2,126/oz Au.

Gold production 21% higher, and AISC lower than our initial pre-acquisition mine plan.

A$253 million of free cash flow

Debt free with a closing cash balance of A$398 million
