Totally agree on the growth drilling potential at Telfer

As I stated recently, it's strange that when you get really good drilling assays in growth drilling, such as the likes so far in the West Dome Underground project, it's barely noticed. However, if those results had been achieved in exploration drilling, the market would be sitting up, and probably piling in to the company involved.

Such is life, but, hey, as you say, looking forward to the next resource upgrade.

IMHO, without going too deeply into this, it's very important to realise that the situation at Telfer is, understandably, very fluid, especially only a few months into ownership. Shaun Day has also stated, many times, that 'optionality' is a major part of what we're doing too. It could well be the case that a decision made in one month, with regards to the likes of growth drilling and/or exploration drilling, could change a couple of months later. There are many factors at play, including, as just one, free cash flow.

Yes, it maybe could have been done better, but I'm not overly concerned about it.

One of the funds I mentioned some time back, which has Greatland as it's largest holding, and which concentrates on long term gains, 'Golden Prospect Precious Metals' is cited today in the Daily Mail. The piece also mentions Greatland in this regard, as well as it's location in relation to other mining companies....

Whatever anyone's views on 'This Is Money', and the likes of 'Midas', you have to give them their due, because they tipped GGP back in March, when it was 9.7p, and it's now around 12.45p (in old money), so around a 28% increase alone, despite the totally overreacted, and subsequently manipulated drop in the SP (IMHO) after the Q2 results.

Indeed! A good robust response, but, as predictable, by the early intervention of some of the usual suspects, we'll see some more nonsense posted today. Afterall, it is a Friday, so maybe they'll start early again. I'm out of here for the rest of the day, as it'll probably be a pointless day to post anything sensible.

Just taking one of my regular looks at the Morningstar Greatland Resources Ownership figures, and noticed a new large holder, MLC Limited (MLC Limited is part of the Nippon Life Insurance Group). They didn't yet show up in the last Bloomberg terminal GGP owners I have from earlier this year.

MLC Limited are showing as owning 67,429,419 GGP shares, which is one of the current largest institutional holders. They also have a large range of superannuation funds available for Australian companies & individuals.

Does the GGP sp ever, really, SUSTAINABLY, move north on any 'catalyst'. I've never really looked into it too deeply, but it seems to me that the sustainable moves north are often random and, maybe unexpected.

Hi Toby! You appear to have missed that the piece is 99% about Havieron, not Telfer, as un "undeveloped project" but I accept that the latest updated figures about Telfer aren't included. However, that's not what it's mainly about.

Thanks for posting on that interview VTID. It was an excellent one, and, IMHO, should be of interest to any GGP shareholders who haven't seen it yet. TT

- Lower the minimum Investable Weight Factor (IWF) from 0.30 to 0.15, broadening eligibility to firms with larger strategic holdings.
