RE: Charles Archer -Small CapMining Review3 Nov 2025 07:17
Another very positive piece by Charles Archer, as I'd expect.
He does comment, "My only additional comment is that Shaun should be taking advantage of the company’s ownership of one of the best tungsten deposits in the world.".
I'm sure that he is, and we're already scheduled to complete a diamond hole testing extensions to O’Callaghans later this month. It's also entirely possible that there's been some further connection with the likes of the US.
Earlier this year Shaun Day stated, "We have Australia's largest, and highest grade, Tungsten deposit....Clearly the world wants to diversify away from
China exposure, so I think the option value of that Tungsten deposit is now really significant...I think there's some great opportunity with O'Callaghans...I've reached out to the US Government about what they'd like to do".
There have also, allegedly, been meetings in Washington recently, with several Australian mining companies, with officials from various agencies in the Trump administration, looking for ways to take equity-like stakes in companies. This has been advanced with the recent visit of Anthony Albanese. I'm not saying that we've been involved in any way, but, having dealt with government agencies in the past myself, over potential projects, I know that this type of activity is kept very confidential.
