Sandeep Biswas also made it pretty clear in a presentation, just over a week ago, that, "....how do we bring Havieron on as soon as we possibly can, now. It depends what sort of mining we're looking at. I mean if you're looking at the grades there, I mean, again we've got to do a lot more drilling, but if that becomes a potentially a high grade mine, you could bring that on sooner rather than later..."

Newcrest indeed, without any doubt whatsoever, are fast tracking Havieron! That's a given IMHO! They need to urgently show their shareholders that they have something to keep Telfer operating feasibly into the future.

Indeed! As GH stated at the time, "a large, multi-commodity...mining operation" :-)

As it's been a bit quiet today I thought it may be interesting for some investors in GGP to look back a year or so, as it's surely related to the current picture.

As an example, the RNS on the 5th February 2019 (2nd drill campaign at Havieron) stated, "Results demonstrate the potential for Havieron to become a large, multi-commodity, bulk tonnage, underground mining operation". This was following the HAD006-009 assays.

At that time, in a video interview with Proactive, GH stated (My precis):

- GH doesn't understand the reaction of the market
(emails from those in industry who "understand" the results, congratulating them on the latest results)
- Beginning of journey to build very large & valuable company
- Drill holes are only "scratching the surface" of the system
- Potentially very significant system at depth - Down to 1,400m or more
- Job now to push forward and maximise shareholder value
- If it makes sense for shareholders Greatland can take it "the whole way" - exploration, development, feasibility to production, but still open to opportunities and ideas
- The key in the modern mining industry is in scale - large intervals of mineralisation required

IMHO GH is doing a great job today and maximising shareholder value under the current situation for Greatland Gold. The market is probably now catching up somewhat with the real value of GGP, but we could still, indeed, be only scratching the surface of future potential today!

IMHO, I'd expect the number of rigs to increase further, to maybe eight or more in the next few weeks, as Newcrest step up their 'proving' of Havieron as their Telfer saviour. They need a quick answer and Havieron appears to be increasingly ticking the boxes for them.

As Sandeep Biswas stated recently:

"These results extend the mineral footprint and signal the very real potential for renewal of our asset portfolio in the Paterson Province. The grades we're seeing at Havieron are unique for this region and we're excited to progress in the accelerator evaluation of this opportunity."

"Finding gold is hard and rare, so to get these kinds of drilling results is really exciting."

"And the other piece as you say is how do we bring Havieron on as soon as we possibly can, now. It depends what sort of mining we're looking at. I mean if you're looking at the grades there, I mean, again we've got to do a lot more drilling, but if that becomes a potentially a high grade mine, you could bring that on sooner rather than later..."

Indeed Stuart! That is why the step out drill holes that Newcrest are currently taking, to the NW of Havieron, are so crucial.

If the valuable, feasibly minerable mineralisation, extends further towards, or indeed, maybe even into, the 100% owned GGP tenements, beyond the Newcrest units, you can pretty much throw most of the recent low/high value estimates well out of the window, and start again! :-) DYOR

IMHO, the most likely scenario going forward would be for the Scallywag test drills, as GH indicated, during Q1/Q2 this year. That should be under current project funding, with cash flow being adequate, as reported in the last financial results, until around October.

Further funding for extra drilling (based on positive test drill assay results, and which I also believe that GH would be in favour of, to add extra shareholder value) at Scallywag may well then be funded by the possible divestment of the likes of Fire Tower and/or Warrentinna around, say, Q2/Q3 this year.

Based on all that, obviously again assay results based, and it's only a guesstimate, I'd expect GGP to then go for another farm in type agreement with Newcrest at Scallywag (most likely, and taking up their first right of refusal option), or, alternatively, the possibility of a new J/V with someone else, taking place towards the end of 2020.

Under AIM Rule 17 the AIM company must notify via a RIS "Without delay" under AIM Rule 17.

Under DTR 5, the rules are that the shareholder must notify the AIM company as soon as possible and within two trading days. The AIM company must then notify the market by the end of the third trading day after notification.

These notifications can take some time. In fact, as an example, another AIM share that I watch had a TR-1 RNS today. The threshold was reached on the 5th February, so 12 days ago.

AIM companies are still required to disclose significant shareholdings under rule 17 of the AIM Rules for Companies (AIM Rules) and rule 5 of the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (DTR 5).

In the case of the AIM Rule 17, when a holding is reached of 3% or more in any class of AIM security (excluding treasury shares) and any increase or decrease in such holding through any single percentage point. In the case of DTR 5, when voting rights reach, exceed or fall below 3% holding and each 1% above 3% up to 100% (DTR5.1.2R).

There is no prescribed form for AIM companies to notify, but they can use Form TR1.

A useful port, thanks Bronze Age, however you haven't mentioned the 'Telfer Effect'. The availability of the Telfer facility would significantly reduce production posts from what they would have been if a new facility was required.

I'm pretty sure that there are several companies already sniffing around the whole Paterson region, and indeed Greatland's tenements. The advantage that Newcrest have though, is that during the farm-in period, they have a first right of refusal over the remainder of Greatland’s Paterson project (Black Hills, Paterson Range East and remaining areas of Havieron licence).

As for rigs, IMHO I'd see it increasing from six to maybe eight, but possibly more, in the next few months.

Yup, absolutely! I'm sure that you are becomning increasingly frustrated at the ongoing market ignorance, especially over the past few weeks, about GGP, and what MASSIVE potential GGP has, and indeed has had for some time now! The old saying, "If you snooze, you lose" couldn't be more true today, IMHO, than anything I've invested in over the past 30 years in the junior miner market!

The facts speak for themselves about GGP. I haven't seen anything like this current situation, and future potential, for a junior 'miner' for many, many years. Practically every drill hole, including step out's, from the start at Havieron, is pointing towards a major new find, which is still indicating to be increasing in size. At the same time this is also backed up by a major partner in Newcrest Mining, who already have their Telfer facility ready and waiting for production, in one of the most mining-friendly jurisdictions in the world. That, taken with the massive future potential of Scallywag, makes this a no-brainer, IMHO.

Personally, as a long term investor in GGP, I've no particular interest in the current volatility of the sp, which, let's face it, is no different from what we've seen for the past year or so, at least.

If you trade the highs & lows, fine, but I have no interest in that, whatsoever, but, as a long term bet, I don't think you'll find any better today in any junior miner, globally.
