So true now on GGP LSE Share Chat! It's sadly now increasingly become a 'GGP Supporter Club', with anyone that even thinks, let alone posts, anything remotely negative about Greatland Gold, often being verbally abused and threatened with being filtered.

Personally I just ignore it. The people that espouse to that type of relationship with other investor's are not worth bothering about, IMHO! :-)

Interesting piece, thanks 1gandhi. However, my gut feeling is that the likes of Fire Tower & Warrenntina will eventually be divested by GGP and the funds utilised for other drilling costs, such as at Scallywag. If this news adds value to those tenements then it's clearly good news.

Of course it's still a tempting target, but you can't do everything together. GH is clearly, and correctly IMHO, concentrating right now on Havieron and, going forward, Scally. As most of us know, it was Black Hills, in June 2018, that Greatland commenced it first exploration campaign at Black Hills, when multiple gold nuggets were found in thin sand cover within the first few days of the campaign. It was at that time that many people got interested in GGP.
Going forward, it clearly has potential, but GH is right in the timeline of what he's doing currently, IMHO!

IMHO, if we were currently prior to Sprott, and the largely resultant 4 day c. 35% rise we saw in the sp to a 12p high on Tuesday, I'd expect the FOMO market to post some possible large rises in the sp on a Friday, before the next report. I just don't see that this week. However, next week could be very interesting, with the expected report, but also possible news from GH on Scally drilling.

GH has always been a canny PR operator with the timing of company news. Once he has the information available, and the go ahead from the national government/WA area government/indigenous people's representatives, he'll drop it in when it best suits GGP.

It's also feasible that we could possibly have some news from Greatland about the planned test drilling at Scallywag prior to that.

Estimated to have the next interim report from Newcrest next week, around the 11th June +/-.

The 'closing price' on ii often bears little resemblance with what's happened minutes earlier in the market.

As others have stated, IMHO, we'll see an initial 'retreat' to the 9.40p levels that ruled before.

If the sp goes 10p + then great, but i just don;t see it myself.

You hit the nail on the head. As I've said many time is the past, and not just here, everyone's investment strategy evolves over their lifetime. Taking GGP as just one, of many thousands of examples, there are investor's who have got in early, well sub 1p, and many that have got in much later. I just can't understand some people on this forum, that bully some other's, and indeed threaten to filter them (they never really do, or maybe do for a short time) for even suggesting that they've top-sliced!
When, if indeed ever. everyone accepts, which will probably never happen, that we all have different investment choices and desires, then this forum will become even more friendly than it generally has been recently.
