Absolutely napthman1! Don't underestimate what the Chinese can bring to the table here, if you want major returns. Let's be quite clear here, they've pretty much 'raped' most of the natural resources in West/East Africa (and I make no apology for that terminology!) over the past few decades. It'll be more difficult in Oz, for sure, but it's definitely a factor to be taken into account.

Commercial contracts just don't normally have such clauses, and why would either party even wish to have such a clause in any agreement anyway?

On June 11, Newcrest released an exploration update for its Havieron project and the best drill result was 109m @ 6.3g/t Au and 0.71% Cu from 668m in hole HAD059. This is equal to 767(AuEq.)m and is the best drill interception at the project to date.

Havieron is located in the Paterson region of Western Australia, and the company operates it through a farm-in agreement with Greatland Gold (OTCPK:GRLGF). Newcrest can earn to 70% of the project by spending up to $65 million in exploration.

Havieron is around 45km east from Newcrest's Telfer gold-copper mine, which has an annual output of around 450,000 ounces of gold.

Newcrest plans to deliver a maiden inferred resource for Havieron in the second half of 2020.

Drilling so far has demonstrated continuity of mineralization over 450m of strike, up to 150m wide and more than 600m in vertical extent. Mineralization remains open along strike and at depth.

Why? I'm more than happy to read AG's research, which is actually more considered than many view's and posts on this forum.

I don't understand. Why would you immediately wish to disparage someone, for what was probably either an intended shortening of one word, or a typo error, in the way that they introduce their latest piece of research, whatever it says?!

Maybe what's significantly more important for someone that takes the time and effort to post this type of view is what your personal view is on the actual research that they've done.

Funnily enough I did too, but, maybe like you, back in the 90's! :-) IMHO, it's efinitely not what it was then though.

The problem, if it's a problem (?) is that some people actually follow this type of thing on 'social media'.

We've certainly seen some 'students' post on this forum over the past few weeks.

Is that an issue? I don't know, but, as usual, many people seem to just take these types of posts as factual, without ant very basic research of their own!

It appears that the whole ISA issue is becoming more and more relevant to many with GGP investments, and rightly so with the increasing sp. There have certainly been more posts about it, and Bed & ISA questions. Luckily I've managed to wrap all of my GGP investments from the initial 0.65p, upwards. That all said, with the bullish view from most on this forum, I'd do everything possible to wrap as much as I could. DYOR & GLA

If you look back at any of their pieces on GGP over the past year, or so, they're a litany of poorly researched, up and down 'advice', which would make even the best roller coaster ride aficianado's throw up! ;-)

Take it, or leave it. The latter for me, but IMHO it's interesting to see what any media has to say, nonetheless....
