I do tend to agree, but, I'm sure you'd agree, we'd all love to be proved wrong. Hopefully we'll get more 'positive' and indicative results from the interims in around 4 weeks time! :-)

Sandeep also talked about the, possibly major item, that many of us have been talking about for some time, the breccia zone mineralisation at Havieron, which, of course, GH mentioned in his recent interview on Proactive, as containing "high grade" gold. Sandeep talked about block caving in relation to that. Do you have any views? I apologise in advance for the questions, but I can't think of anyone better to answer them! :-)

Yup, that looks like it Paddy, when I refer back to my notes. I see that it was about the time he was talking about the grades in relation to Telfer, the parabola on it's side, and "high grade stoping operation".

Sandeep mentioned a figure (estimate) of 1 - 2 million tonnes to do with Havieron which I noted down, but I didn't catch exactly what those figures refered to, as I was trying to note down quite a few things at the time.

Can anyone clarify?

Most Q&A questions are clearly about Havieron.
Biswas was asked "Would you consider a buyout of Greatland Gold?"
His reply was that they are on a pathway to 75% and he can't speculate, but clearly the rate of return is the important factor.

In fact my personal view is that the interim Newcrest report will be more important than the last quarterly report, as it should have some very important information about the more recent drilling, especially the step out's, but also including the all important breccia zone that GH mentioned in his Proactive interview with reference to high grade gold. Don't forget that the quarterly report was only for results up to the end of March and much has happened since then of course.

I would expect the next Newcrest 'Interim Exploration and Guidance Report' around the middle of June. The March report was published on the 11th March.

Hopefully, before then, there will, at least, be some news on a time schedule for the test drilling at Scallywag, with, IMHO, a chance that those test drills could actually also start too.

I've just always had a feeling that they (Newcrest) need to maybe concentrate more on the NW step out's, even further, but that scenario would mean that they may have to stump up a lot more 'cash'! :-) Of course, that doesn't mean that there could well be even more significant valuable mineralisation in the new breccia zone.

That all said though, it's nice for us to be holding what appears to be the 'trump card' right now! GLA

One question about the step out's to the NW. Is there any way you can tell the extent of these latest drilling images in relation to the Newcrest tenements at Havieron. Sorry if I've asked this before, but it's quite important with regards the farm-in agreement tenements, and what's actually outside of that, and 100% GGP owned.

To the NW area of the Newcrest Havieron tenements (within the overall E45/4701 GGP tenement) we have 1472 t, and at the most NW, 1472 n.

Do you know how far to the NW these step out's drills are in relation to these tenements?

As you can appreciate, if the motherlode extends beyond the Newcrest blocks, further to the NW than their farm-in ownership, then GGP obviously have 100% ownership, at this time.

I believe that it's fair to say that GH is a drill and prove man, to (hopefully) improve shareholder value and has been all along.

Yes, generally it is! However, what, IMHO, you can't argue about, is the attitude of some posters on this forum, including, indeed, a few regular posters, who are often verbally abusive to anyone that has a view any different from their own. They know who they are, and, if you research their posts, you can see that they appear, probably understandably, to be frustrated. That's largely because, unlike most restained investors, they tend to bluster about their recent buys/sells, and in several cases have heavily bought GGP recently at the, around 8.50-9.00p level, and can't quite understand that the sp has always retraced after Greatland Gold & Newcrest reports, over recent years, and will possibly do so more than average this time around due to the hype before the last quarterly report.
