I totally agree. However, what happens between now and then is a crap shoot, IMHO, which nobody knows. That view is purely based on GGP trading history over recent years. Nothing is certain, whatsoever, but especially the views from some on this forum that the sp will rise in a straight line forever! :-) DYOR

Firstly, many thanks to magictrades for his presentation, which was excellent. His summarisation added to many views that many of us have had for some time, that we need to know about Scally asap! :-)

The latest news from the Australian National Cabinet is that we'll see a phased reduction in lockdown measures and from studying that, IMO, the likes of Scally test drilling could now feasibly happen from June onwards, so Q2/3 2020, instead of the initially planned Q1/2 2020.

That would, IMO, on past assay result timings from GGP, show, maybe, some initial test assays from Scally around end July/August.

Prior to that we will have the latest Havieron assays from Newcrest, from after 31st March going forward. Those could come anytime from around late June, as an 'Interim Exploration and Guidance Report', and/or later, as the 'Quarterly Exploration Report' in July.

Further to my earlier post, the cabinet meeting has taken place today and there is a three-stage plan to ease COVID-19 restrictions across the country by July. IMO it appears more likely that Scally drilling would be possible in stage two/three, possibly earliest in June, but you can make your own mind up. As suggested before the cabinet meeting, there doesn't appear to be any rush, and probably quite rightly too, to get businesses fully back to work, but, as you'd expect, a phased approach.

Hopefully the framework will at least allow GH and the team to plan more clearly going forward for Scally test drilling. My best guess would be end May/early June, but nothing is certain, as we all know in the current environment.

There's a national cabinet meeting tomorrow which may make some changes , but the general view in the Australian media is that they will be minimal, initially, to see how they pan out with regards infections in the various states.

That said, on the advice of the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), the cabinet is expected to agree to a clear framework to allow Australians to understand how the next few months will look.

IMHO, there's nothing new here with AIM & GGP! Indeed it would probably be an exception if we didn't see at least some retrace, often significant, after most of the historical GGP drill RNS communications over the past couple of years and/or the more recent Newcrest drill result reports.

The news from WA was good earlier this week that no new cases had been reported for 5 days in that state. I believe that there's a national cabinet meeting this Friday, which MAY give some new information about a loosening of restrictions. Hopefully we'll see work commencing on the Scally test drills in the next few weeks.

As reiterated by him in his article recently in the Global Mining Review (March/April 2020), where "Gervaise Heddle, Greatland Gold PLC, Australia, discusses the tailwinds driving the global gold market and says the prospect of a 'production cliff' is once more putting exploration under the spotlight."

I'm surprised anyone believed that there would be any more 'big' news from Callum. GH does the 'big' news, not Callum. Certainly there was never going to be anything new about Havieron. Newcrest does that. It's their drilling and their assays and limit it to their reports.

Callum’s key focus today was on how we targeted drilling to discover the high grade zone at Havieron in 2018 - and the exciting part is that our field work last year identified multiple high priority targets in the Paterson with similar geophysical characteristics to Havieron.

I don't have the exact RNS, but, under the purchase agreement between Pacific Trends Resources and Greatland Pty Ltd./Greatland Gold PLC back in 2016, in the event that Havieron is the subject of a completed bankable feasibility study and Greatland Gold makes a decision to mine, Greatland Gold PLC must issue an additional 145,530,000 fully paid ordinary shares in Greatland Gold PLC to PTR.

Thanks for that piece lebugue and good to see that the Health Minister stated that, "we’ve all got an ambition to get people back to work … but to do so safely,”.

Hopefully they can get the test drills at Scally on track in the next few weeks. It's possible that Callum could say something in the presentation too, but he probably won't know anything more definite until the Friday national cabinet meeting.

Indeed, we have cash in the bank, until at least October 2020, to cover the projected Scally test drills, according to the last financial results, and, in addition, the warranty cash added recently.

The earliest I'd see a possible sale of Firetower and/or Warrentina, would be, as stated before, in Q3 2020.

IMHO, as I've said for months, the likes of Firetower & Warrentinna prospects will likely be divested later this year, to 'pay' for Scally drilling. Only time will tell, and this is by no means a static situation for Greatland.

Where exactly was there any factual statement, from any source, that there were 10 rigs on site, or due at Havieron? As usual, there may well have been speculation, just as there was earlier, when the count increased from 6 to 8. As far as I know, the 9th rig will be used for geotech & hydro studies.

What's more, Newcrest appear to be now well into the pre-feasibility studies. The 9th drilling rig at Havieron is, as GH has stated, likely in place for geotech & hydro studies.

Exactly! What's more, as GH has stated most recently, we're still in the "early days"! Newcrest are now going to be drilling heavily into further step out zones at Havieron in this, Q2, with their 'growth programme'.

Quite why anyone would wish, or expect to see, anything like an acceptable T/O offer now, or even soon, is beyond me!
