Interesting the comment, "Heddle doesn’t rule out the possibility of being acquired, but insists his company’s focus is on progressing Havieron through the next steps and ultimately into production in order to ‘produce positive free cash flow for our investors’, while also making further progress on its other targets."

It reminded me of an interview with GH back on the 5th February 2019 (what a research memory!!) where he comments on his thoughts about the direction of the company going forward. He also reiterated, if some of you remember, yet again, that the market didn't understand what was actually being found at Havieron. That's maybe also true to an extent today as well with the sp recently just bumping along, despite the increasing size of the motherlode...

My notes from the piece in February, 2019:

Just for more information RoronoaZoro121, as I posted a few days ago, Alastair Clayton of Artemis mentions the lab delays in an interview with Proactive about Carlow Castle and Paterson Central :

"It's just us and every other company that's complaining about waiting for their assays, but look, that's part of life, and you just have to manage it. We've been feeding the labs since early October and, while the sausage machine might be busy, and a bit slow at the moment, they are coming out the other end."

That was ridiculous, if it was the case. The usual assay lab results have been 4-6 weeks from deposit in the lab, much earlier this year, but, due to the increased demand, there have been delays of up to 6 weeks. Hence my measured prediction for mid/end December, at best.

We're due the Ragged Range assays, which the latest RNS indicated were likely around early December. IMHO, that's pushing it a bit, based on the delays that we're seeing from the labs over the past few months.

My best guess would be mid/end December for those assays, but, as always, only time will tell.

Yes, a nice 10% (so far) move north, which is great, of course.

Then, looking at why?

It's AIM, so maybe it's insider dealing based on imminent good news? Say, 40% chance?

Maybe it's FOMO, as we soon enter December, with hopefully something before the AGM? Say, 40% chance?

Maybe it's a 'pump & dump'? Maybe 20% chance?

Using the benchmark of the sp immediately prior to the nice rise in the after the RNS on the 21st October, reporting 'visible gold in follow up sampling' at Ragged Range, and comparing it with the current sp's, THR AXS is still up around 25%, but now, after yesterday's drop, THR AIM is only up 9%.

OK, you can't make an exact comparison, but we're adrift around 16%. TT

No change on THR AXS sp today (Wednesday), and it was UP 5.3% yesterday! Meanwhile THR AIM was down around 11% yesterday.

Let's see what today brings on AIM... TT

Indeed, thanks. ADVFN didn't show a date, but now subsequently they're on LSE and they do show as 'Buy', as you say. TT

Yup, it'll be interesting to see what happens to the THR ASX sp tomorrow (it was actually UP 5.3% today), and if there's anything special to come out of the AGM, especially after today's THR AIM sp drop, which is somewhat strange IMHO!

All a bit strange indeed! The THR AIM sp suddenly sinks to around -15% at one point today, for no apparent reason (OK the gold price is down, but IMHO that doesn't warrant it). That's after the THR ASX sp was UP 5.3% today!

The AGM is tomorrow...Shenanigans in play? Who knows?

Anyway, like others have mentioned, I topped up on the drop at just under 1p.

So, much as expected, the assays of the stream sediment samples from the October field program are looking to be available in early December, which fits in with the usual timings of 4-6 weeks. There have been some recent delays though at the labs, due to the increased demand over the past few months, so early December, maybe a bit later IMHO.

....So, today’s list of six juniors that Garimpeiro has come up with are not recommendations. They are just names on the ASX that have exposure to exploration programs which might – or might not – excite in the weeks and months ahead.

If there is a common theme to them it is that most have big name miners funding the exploration programs. They are banking on any discoveries being enough to move the dial for them and have usually structured their “farm-in’’ agreements so they end up with 70% of the action.

There is nothing wrong with that from the junior company’s perspective. While De Grey and Chalice did it by themselves, more often than not a big discovery requires deeper pockets than the average junior has.

London’s Greatland Gold is a prime example of a junior enjoying a major value uplift even if its ownership of a discovery is being reduced from 100% to eventually as low as 25%. That is happening in its farm-in deal with Newcrest.

Even so, such is the excitement around the joint venture’s Havieron discovery in Western Australia’s Paterson province, Greatland has gone from junior status to a company with a market cap of $1.6 billion....

I understand that Scallywag drilling probably ended around the end of October. Normal past drill core assays took approximately 6-8 weeks. That has clearly been extended to a degree with the current demand on the labs. Most people accept, as some of us have for some time now, that GH is awaiting the full set. Logically, therefore, it could be well into December before those assays are released.

That said, GH will, undoubtedly IMHO, manage the release in the best way possible!
