Greatland Gold PLC (LON:GGP) has highlighted a transformational year in its final results, with the Havieron gold-copper deposit proving to be a “game changer” as a campaign led by operator Newcrest continued to unearth high-grade results.

Newcrest has so far drilled some 100,000 metres at the project since May 2019.

“A series of excellent drill results to date from Havieron have continued to extend the footprint of mineralisation, and an initial resource is on track to be delivered before the end of calendar 2020,” Greatland chairman Alex Borrelli said in the results statement.....

Yet another one....

Wishbone Gold PLC (LON:WSBN) soared 41% higher to 9.15p in early trade on Wednesday after it identified four magnetic targets of considerable size on its Patersons Range project.

The targets cover 2.4 kilometres by 400 metres (m) and are much shallower than the nearby Havieron discovery, with the top of the magnetic targets ranging from 150m to 250m below the surface.

Wishbone said it has now completed legal and technical due diligence on the Patersons Range project, in the Havieron and Telfer region of Western Australia, and will now move to close the acquisition on the previously announced terms.

Primorus highlighted that it has realised over £6.5mln from its interest in Greatland, which began with £630,000 of investment in late 2018 and early 2019...

"The Greatland Gold investment has, by any measure, been extremely successful. Having made a high-conviction investment call in late 2018, it has been hugely satisfying to watch Greatland grow to a market cap in excess of £800mln,” said Alastair Clayton, Primorus executive director in a statement.

“Whilst the outlook for Greatland is extremely positive, after nearly 2 years, it is time for Primorus to realise its remaining gains and look to re-invest elsewhere in accordance with its investment mandate. Current cash reserves of Primorus now exceed the market capitalisation of the company," he added.

Ahh, OK, thanks for the clarification, which again goes to show that since that particular piece in January nothing much has changed with the Wafi-Golpu licence application.

So, much as stated earlier by GH, and expected!

IMHO, it's quite simple now....

Either we'll get a partial Scallywag assay result (maybe a couple of weeks, at most), or a full set (at least 6-8 weeks from now...)!

Bottleneck, or not, GH will release Scallywag assays when he believes it best. IMHO.

That said, I've increasingly believed, and stated, that it may well not come until they have a full set.

It's my understanding that we may well still be drilling there.

Based on that, we may still be weeks away....

Partial (certainly not the first one's, IMHO), or full set, we may need to wait a bit yet!

I've believed, for at least the past 18 months, and continue to do so, that Firetower and Warrentinna would be divested by GH, to at least part-pay for the drilling projects in the other company owned tenements.

Thank you for bringing, yet again, some well needed rationality into the ongoing MRE discussions!

I continue to say that some people will be disappointed, probably solely because they just don't understand & appreciate how this works..It's INITIAL, nothing more!
